  • Publication number: 20080068195
Abstract: A method, a system, and a device for body-controlled transmission of data elements to be selected to a terminal. Reference values and data elements associated therewith are stored in a lookup table. By at least one acceleration sensor, attachable to a part of the body of a user, acceleration values and/or vibration values able to be influenced though bodily movements of the user are captured. By a comparison module, acceleration values and/or vibration values are compared with reference values, and at least one data element selected, assigned to a reference value. • Patent number: 7292712
Abstract: A transaction method, a service center, and a device for carrying out the transaction method. In the transaction method object picture data relating to a transaction object, for example a product or a service, are made visible to a user, for instance by projecting image signals corresponding to the object picture data directly on the retina of the user. Eye features of the user are determined while the object picture data, made visible, are viewed by him/her, for example by the light being captured that is reflected by the retina owing to the projected image signals and retina patterns of the user being determined from the determined reflection data and the associated object picture data. The determined eye features with object data relating to the transaction object are linked in a transaction record and the transaction record is forwarded to a processing unit.

  • Publication number: 20070248242
Abstract: A method is disclosed for gaining access to an object and/or to a service of an object or service provider. A biometric reference parameter of at least one user is recorded in a personal mobile station (1). The user orders an object or service from a remote server (6, 7) by means of his personal mobile station 81). An actual biometric parameter is recorded by a biometric sensor of the object or service provider and the recorded actual biometric parameter is compared to the reference parameter. On a successful comparison, access to the object or service is permitted. The invention further relates to a system with the components mentioned.

  • Publication number: 20070224999
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and a system for automated call diversion of calls intended for a mobile radio device (1) to a second network connection (5). The invention is characterized in that a detection module of a customer premises equipment (2) detects the mobile radio device (1) as soon as it is located in the sphere of influence (14) of an interface (4) between the mobile radio device (1) and the customer premises equipment (2), whereby identification data of the mobile radio device are transmitted via the interface. Based on the identification data of the mobile radio device, call diversion of calls intended for the mobile radio device to the second network device is activated as long as the mobile radio device (1) is located in the sphere of influence (14) of the interface between the mobile radio device (1) and the customer premises equipment (2).

  • Publication number: 20070092114
Abstract: A method, a communication system and a remote server (6, 7) are disclosed for comparing biometric data recorded with different biometric sensors (1.3, 8) with reference data. In the inventive method, biometric data are recorded by the biometric sensor (1.3, 8). Simultaneously, the type of sensor is determined and sensor-dependent parameters are determined depending on the type of the sensor (1.3, 8) outside the sensor (1.3, 8). The recorded biometric data are compared with reference data, whereas for the comparison the parameters dependent on the sensor (1.3, 8) are taken into account. Advantageously, a comparison of biometric data that have been recorded with sensors (1.3, 8) from different manufacturers is possible easily and reliably.

  • Patent number: 7194432
Abstract: A billing method and billing system to determine usage fees which are charged to the user of a digital telecommunications network, whereby a usage fee charged for a connection is determined prior to establishing this connection from statistical characteristics of previous connections of the user, is described. Usage fees are determined from a dynamic client profile, derived from one or multiple random variables of previous connections of the user, which is stored in memory and rederived after each new customer connection. In a simple variant, the client profile contains a value proportional to the average price per connection or to the average duration of a connection of the user. The random variables used to derive the client profile include, for example, the connection duration, the time of day, the day of the week, and/or geographic characteristics of previous connections.

  • Publication number: 20060271612
Abstract: For transmitting video data from a central unit (1) via a mobile radio network (2) to a mobile terminal (3) having a display unit (32), determined is the gaze direction of a user of the display unit (32) by means of a gaze direction determination module (322) of the display unit (32). The gaze direction is transmitted by the terminal (3) via the mobile radio network (2) to the central unit (1). Based on the gaze direction, the central unit (1) determines position-dependent correlation threshold values. Moreover, the central unit (1) generates bit matrices that identify correlating picture elements having correlating picture element values, the correlating picture elements being determined dependent on the correlation threshold values. The bit matrices are transmitted together with the video data, one respective common data element, having a common picture element value, being transmitted for correlating picture elements.

  • Publication number: 20060150211
Abstract: A method for limited-access receiving of data is disclosed. In a remote server (5), data for decoding user data are encrypted with the first key, which has been generated on the basis of the user's biometric or key data derived therefrom, and sent as program-accompanying data through a broadcast system. In a terminal (1) of the user, the information received through the broadcast system are decrypted with the second key, that has also been generated on the basis of the user's biometric or key data derived therefrom. The user data are decoded with the received decrypted data for decoding user data and the received user data can be reproduced.
