  • Publication number: 20230336376
Abstract: In one embodiment, a method includes acquiring an Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) address for a physical interface of a first network element. The method also includes configuring an Internet Protocol version 4 (IPv4) over IPv6 tunnel between the first network element and a second network element using the physical interface of the first network element. The method also includes acquiring an updated IPv6 address for the physical interface of the first network element and using an IPv6 Service Level Agreement (SLA) Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) operation to notify the second network element of the updated IPv6 address to establish a bidirectional IPv4 over IPv6 tunnel. • Patent number: 11782763
Abstract: An aspect of the present disclosure facilitates resolving tickets in a multi-tenant environment. In one embodiment, a server receives a ticket for a tenant from a ticketing system and then determines a gross job representing a class of jobs suitable for resolution of the received ticket. The server then identifies a set of values for a set of system parameters characterizing the computing resources serving the tenant. The server selects a target job based on the combination of the determined gross job and the set of values for the set of system parameters. The selected target job is then executed to cause resolution of the ticket for the tenant. According to another aspect, the server performs the above noted actions automatically without manual intervention, in response to adding of the ticket into the ticketing system.

  • Publication number: 20230221977
Abstract: In one set of embodiments, during an initial pre-copying phase, copies of the virtual disks of a VM or VM template can be distributed across one or more datastores, prior to the start of any cloning. This effectively seeds each datastore with a disk pool comprising a certain number of copies of the VM/VM template's virtual disks. Then, at the time of receiving a user request to create k clones from the VM/VM template, up to k copies of the VM/VM template's virtual disks that already reside in the disk pools of one or more target datastores can be moved from those disk pools to the clones' home folders on the target datastores, thereby reducing or eliminating the need to create brand new copies of the virtual disks on demand.

  • Patent number: 11698843
Abstract: Described herein is a method, system, and non-transitory computer readable medium for helping customers in accessing data through an application from a replica database, detecting whether the replica database, zone of availability of the replica database, or geographical region encompassing the zone of availability is experiencing an outage or other failure, and re-routing traffic to a backup replica database accordingly. To assess the status of the database, metrics are pushed in a secure manner from a private subnet to a public-facing monitoring agent, achieving a clear segregation of private subnet and public facing components. Further, circuit-breaker logic is included for preventing failure during updating DNS addresses during the re-routing process.

  • Publication number: 20230188492
Abstract: In one embodiment, a method includes determining, by a router, a common prefix pool from a transport interface associated with a transport virtual private network (VPN). The method also includes identifying, by the router, a prefix associated with a service VPN and generating, by the router, an IPv6-to-IPv6 Network Address Translation (NAT66) prefix translation using the common prefix pool and the prefix. The NAT66 prefix translation includes a predetermined prefix length. The method further includes automatically installing, by the router, the NAT66 prefix translation into a translation table.

  • Publication number: 20230171176
Abstract: Keepalive packets are transmitted between a sender node and a receiver node at an interval that varies depending on the transit times of previously transmitted keepalive packets. The transit time is based on when a keepalive packet is transmitted to the receiver node and when a corresponding feedback packet is received from the receiver node. The transmission interval varies depending on the path conditions between the sender node and the receiver node, which may be reflected in the transit time.

  • Publication number: 20230067403
Abstract: A computer system provides patient monitoring and treatment using electronic textiles. Biometric data pertaining to a user is received that is obtained over time from an electronic textile device associated with a body of the user. The biometric data is analyzed to identify positions and movements of the body. The identified positions and movements are analyzed to generate a knowledge corpus for the user that maps one or more of: positions, movements, and portions of the body to a health condition of the user. A treatment plan is generated, based on the knowledge corpus, that indicates a relatedness between the health condition of the user and the one or more positions, movements, and portions of the body. Embodiments of the present invention further include a method and program product for providing patient monitoring and treatment in substantially the same manner described above.
