  • Patent number: 10931531
Abstract: A first information handling system may determine a first bandwidth of a first connection between the first information handling system and a client information handling system. The first information handling system may also determine a second bandwidth of a second connection between a second information handling system and the client information handling system. The first information handling system may determine that the first bandwidth is greater than the second bandwidth. Based on the determination, the first information handling system may be designated as a VRRP master node based. Based on the designation as the VRRP master node, the first information handling system may control VRRP operation of the first and second information handling systems.

  • Patent number: 10924391
Abstract: Presented herein are systems and methods that provide traffic recover when virtual router redundancy protocol (VRRP) virtual media access control (VMAC) failures occur in a link aggregation group fabric environment. In one or more embodiments, automatic traffic recovery may be accomplished using internode link control messages to synchronize a VRRP VMAC failure that has been encountered by one LAG node with a LAG peer node. If a database associated with the failed LAG node comprises no entry that indicates that the failure scenario has previously occurred in the LAG peer node, a forwarding path entry rule may be generated to route traffic via the internode link, thereby, reducing data loss through routing failures and the like.

  • Publication number: 20200356412
Abstract: An aspect of the present disclosure facilitates resolving tickets in a multi-tenant environment. In one embodiment, a server receives a ticket for a tenant from a ticketing system and then determines a gross job representing a class of jobs suitable for resolution of the received ticket. The server then identifies a set of values for a set of system parameters characterizing the computing resources serving the tenant. The server selects a target job based on the combination of the determined gross job and the set of values for the set of system parameters. The selected target job is then executed to cause resolution of the ticket for the tenant. According to another aspect, the server performs the above noted actions automatically without manual intervention, in response to adding of the ticket into the ticketing system.

  • Patent number: 10629586
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a Dual Fin SCR device having two parallel fins on which cathode, anode, n- and p-type triggering taps are selectively doped, wherein one Fin (or group of parallel Fins) comprises anode and n-tap, and other Fin (or group of parallel Fins) comprises cathode and p-tap. As key regions of the proposed SCR (anode and cathode), which carry majority of current after triggering, are placed diagonally, they provide substantial benefit in terms of spreading current and dissipating heat. The proposed SCR ESD protection device helps obtain regenerative feedback between base-collector junctions of two back-to-back bipolar transistors, which enables the proposed SCR to shunt ESD current. The proposed SCR design enables lower trigger and holding voltage for efficient and robust ESD protection. The proposed SCR device/design helps offer a tunable trigger voltage and a holding voltage with highfailure threshold.

  • Patent number: 10530856
Abstract: In an embodiment, a first media presentation session is established between a first Source and the Sink, and a second media presentation session between a second Source and the Sink. First and second media streams are streamed to the Sink by the first and second Sources, respectively. The Sink presents the first and second media streams in respective portions of a display screen, and detects user input at the Sink that is indicative of a trigger to transfer data originated from the first Source to the second Source. The Sink coordinates with one or both of the first Source and the second Source to facilitate the data to be delivered to the second Source in response to the detection. As a result of the coordination, the second Source receives the first Source-originated data (e.g., from the first Source directly, or via the Sink).
