  • Publication number: 20250080416
Abstract: Some embodiments automatically and proactively adjust network device configuration settings during network operation, based on correlations between device performance and device configuration. Correlations are computed using statistics routines or computed by a machine learning module. Some embodiments share adjusted configuration values via a cache, and some persist adjusted values through an application restart. In some embodiments, the cache is hierarchical and different kinds of reconfiguration data are shared at different levels. In some embodiments, the configuration value is shared only between application instances that have sufficiently similar contexts. Some embodiments detect a correlation loss and fall back to a known good configuration setting or a default configuration setting. Some embodiments optimize network internode communications by making dynamic adjustments which are not available from static configuration settings or from static configuration rules.

  • Patent number: 12188765
Abstract: A measuring system includes a measuring probe with a contact portion that contacts a workpiece to be measured. The measuring probe operates with a first update rate during at least part of a moving mode, wherein the moving mode includes movement of the measuring probe such that the contact portion is moved away from the workpiece and/or is moved at a distance from the workpiece that is equal to or greater than a threshold distance. The measuring probe operates with a second update rate (i.e., which is faster than the first update rate) during at least part of a measuring mode, wherein the measuring mode includes movement of the measuring probe such that the contact portion is moved toward the workpiece for obtaining a measurement. In various implementations, the combined use of the first and second update rates effectively reduces power-on drift of the measuring probe.

  • Patent number: 12174013
Abstract: A measuring probe for a coordinate measuring machine is provided. The measuring probe includes a stylus position detection portion with a sensing coil configuration, signal processing and control circuitry and a temperature dependent compensation portion. The temperature dependent compensation portion includes a temperature dependent component that is coupled to at least part of the sensing coil configuration such that a change in a characteristic of the temperature dependent component due to an increase in temperature of the temperature dependent component causes a ratio of a first current to a second current to increase in the sensing coil configuration, wherein the first and second currents are in at least one first sensing coil and at least one second sensing coil, respectively, of the sensing coil configuration. Such implementations are configured to increase accuracy of the processed signals by at least partially compensating for certain affects that occur due to temperature changes.

  • Patent number: 12151188
Abstract: Selective recovery of C2 to C4 hydrocarbons is achieved through the use of a converging-diverging nozzle, or de Laval nozzle. The vapor stream comprising C2 to C4 hydrocarbons is fed into an inlet of a de Laval nozzle having a throat. The vapor stream may have an initial temperature of between 0° C. and 100° C., and an initial pressure of between 200 psig and 500 psig. In the de Laval nozzle, the vapor stream expands after passing through the throat of the de Laval nozzle, producing a vapor stream having reduced temperature and pressure. Then, C2 to C4 hydrocarbons condense from the reduced-temperature vapor stream as liquid droplets, which may be recovered. Fractionation of C2 to C4 hydrocarbons by means of a de Laval nozzle is possible; the technique allows selective recovery of propane from a mixture of propane and ethane.
