Abstract: A self-supporting template for an electrical receptacle cutout and method of using the template. The template includes a base plate with template openings, an upright on the base plate, a biased reciprocating push button, and at least one sharp. The push button is secured to the upright for transverse reciprocation between a biased first position spaced furthest from the base plate and a second position spaced closest to the base plate. The at least one sharp reciprocates concurrently with the push button wherein the distal tip is fully recessed when the push button is in the first position and protrudes a fully extended distance in the second transverse direction from the lower major surface of the base plate when the push button is in the second position.

  • Patent number: 11520000
Abstract: A tracking device with a screen that displays the mode of the tracking device on a screen. The device modes may include sleep mode, monitor mode, locate mode, and emergency mode. Each mode represents a frequency of transmission and which can be changed by the software developer or by the consumer in their software application. The sleep mode will be the fewest frequency pings and may be the mode in which the tracking device is operating while it is in a geofence. Monitor mode will be a higher frequency of pings and a locate mode may be yet a further increased number of pings per given time interval. The emergency mode will be entered when, for example, the pet is outside of the geofence and the owner needs to receive an intense number of pings to assure proper location, especially if the pet is moving.

  • Publication number: 20220349705
Abstract: A workpiece holder is configured to hold a workpiece and is utilized in a metrology system which includes a sensing configuration for obtaining 3-dimensional surface data for the workpiece. The workpiece holder includes at least three reference features (e.g., spherical reference features extending from sides) that are configured to be sensed by the sensing configuration when the workpiece holder is in different orientations (e.g., as rotated 180 degrees between first and second orientations for presenting front and back sides of the workpiece towards the sensing configuration). A determination of 3-dimensional positions of the reference features for each orientation enables a combining (e.g., in a common coordinate system) of 3-dimensional surface data that is acquired for the workpiece in each orientation. Interchangeable workpiece holding portions may be provided that fit within the workpiece holder for holding workpieces with different characteristics (e.g., having different sizes and/or shapes).

Abstract: A system and method for receiving video from multiple sources, compositing those sources and then republishing the composited video as a source to a virtual camera driver endpoint. In one embodiment, the present method comprises displaying multiple media streams, represented by worksurface image on a shared display. The shared display worksurface image is then re-encoded, and the re-encoded composite image is transmitted to a client computer, where the re-encoded image is transcoded to simulate a device connected to the client computer. The transcoded media stream is then transmitted to a teleconferencing system.

  • Publication number: 20220323880
Abstract: Selective recovery of C2 to C4 hydrocarbons is achieved through the use of a converging-diverging nozzle, or de Laval nozzle. The vapor stream comprising C2 to C4 hydrocarbons is fed into an inlet of a de Laval nozzle having a throat. The vapor stream may have an initial temperature of between 0° C. and 100° C., and an initial pressure of between 200 psig and 500 psig. In the de Laval nozzle, the vapor stream expands after passing through the throat of the de Laval nozzle, producing a vapor stream having reduced temperature and pressure. Then, C2 to C4 hydrocarbons condense from the reduced-temperature vapor stream as liquid droplets, which may be recovered. Fractionation of C2 to C4 hydrocarbons by means of a de Laval nozzle is possible; the technique allows selective recovery of propane from a mixture of propane and ethane.

  • Publication number: 20220207818
Abstract: In some aspects, the disclosure is directed to methods and systems for a dynamic, reconfigurable virtual reality environment with in-environment access to external data and resources. Implementations of these systems also provide an external mechanism for modifying other aspects of the virtual reality experience with no need to recode or compile the experience. This can alter the primary flow of the experience, change its behavior based on the specific user accessing it and add branded or customer-specific aspects to the application. The same level or environment can provide drastically different experiences for various users from beginners through experts, even allowing the option of random or ordered events, controllable by an instructor or administrator, through simple configuration.
