  • Publication number: 20240335114
Abstract: A system and method for predicting an illness, death or other abnormal condition of an animal is disclosed. A record for the animal including a monitored temperature time series of monitored temperature values that are indicative of a temperature of the animal over a given time period is provided. The monitored temperature time-series is a temperature pattern that includes two or more cycles that are defined by a distance between a given peak of the temperature pattern and a successive peak of the temperature pattern, or a distance between a given valley of the temperature pattern and a successive valley of the temperature pattern. The monitored temperature time-series is analyzed. Based on the analysis, a prediction of the illness, death or other abnormal condition of the animal within a given time duration of the given time period is made. A user of the system is notified of the prediction.

  • Patent number: 11246442
Abstract: A bottle cage is attached to an adjustable clamp that attaches to the edge of the table top of a domestic ironing board. An upper jaw and a lower jaw mechanically engage each other so that they can be squeezed together and immovably lock on the table top edge of an ironing board. One of the jaws (the first jaw) has at least one rack with evenly spaced teeth. The other jaw (the second jaw) has locking teeth, affixed to a resilient upright, which ratchet against the at least one rack as the jaws are squeezed together. The second jaw also incorporates a button on a stalk that protrudes through a slot in the first jaw. • Publication number: 20210378762
Abstract: A C-arm, or a mobile intensifier device, is one example of a medical imaging device that is based on X-ray technology. Because a C-arm device can display high-resolution X-ray images in real time, a physician can monitor progress at any time during an operation, and thus can take appropriate actions based on the displayed images. Monitoring the images, however, is often challenging during certain procedures, for instance during procedures in which attention must be paid to the patient's anatomy as well as a medical imaging device display. In an example, a surgical instrument assembly includes a processor, a surgical instrument configured to operate on an anatomical structure, and a display coupled to the processor and attached to the surgical instrument. The display can be configured to display visual information comprising X-ray images generated by a medical imaging device.
