  • Patent number: 7934737
Abstract: A step device for a vehicle including a movable step arranged in a doorway opened and closed by a door is disclosed. The step device includes a drive unit, an open/close mechanism, a projection/retraction mechanism, and a plate cam. The open/close mechanism opens or closes the slide door. The projection/retraction mechanism moves a movable step. The plate cam is rotated by the open/close mechanism and engaged with a bushing arranged on the projection/retraction mechanism to enable or disable power transmission between the open/close mechanism and the projection/retraction mechanism. The plate cam includes a first recess and a second recess. The first recess pushes the bushing during rotation of the plate cam when the slide door is in a range of a predetermined open/close position to enable or disable power transmission between the open/close mechanism and the projection/retraction mechanism.

  • Publication number: 20090234552
Abstract: A driver model with higher precision is created as an evaluation standard for a driving condition in a normal condition. Further, a driving action is estimated using a driver model which can be created easily and can represent driving characteristics of a driver more precisely. By detecting biometric information of a driver, whether a driver is in a usual condition or not is recognized. Then, data of driving conditions (own vehicle information such as, for example, operation amounts of accelerator, brake, and steering wheel, vehicle speed, inter-vehicle distance, acceleration, and the like) are collected while the driver is driving, and from the driving condition data, a part indicating that the driver operates in a usual condition is extracted to create a driver model. Thus, without making the driver aware, a driver model for normal times can be created automatically.

  • Patent number: 7376033
Abstract: There is provided a semiconductor device including regular cells (16) disposed in a regular sector (10) and connected to a word line (14), and a plurality of reference cells (26) used in reading data from the regular cells (10), wherein one of the reference cells is selected based on a word line distance associated with a regular cell (16) from which data is read. In accordance with the present invention, it is possible to reduce the difference in delay times in the outputs to the sensing amplifier (30) from the regular cell (16) and the reference cell (26), by selecting one of a plurality of reference cells (26) in response to the word line distance of the regular cell from which data is read. It is therefore possible to provide a semiconductor device in which the chip area can be reduced and the sensing operation can be accelerated.

  • Publication number: 20060279986
• Publication number: 20060263989
Abstract: A semiconductor device is provided which includes a semiconductor substrate (10), an ONO film (16) provided on the semiconductor substrate (10), and a bit line (14) formed in the semiconductor substrate (10) and connected to a contact (34) provided on the bit line (14), the semiconductor substrate (10) having trench isolation regions (50) provided at both sides of the bit line (14), the contact (34) being interposed between the trench isolation regions (50). Accordingly, even if the bit line (14) and the contact (34) is overlapped in a misaligned manner in a direction vertical to the bit line (14), the leakage current does not flow between the bit line (14) and the semiconductor substrate (10) via the contact (34), because the contact (34) is formed on the trench isolation region (50). This makes it possible to make the overlapping margin of the bit line (14) and the contact (34) large, thereby providing a semiconductor device in which the memory cell can be downsized.
