Patent number: 6331851Abstract: It is an object of this invention to provide a graphic display apparatus that reduces the amount of CG data transferred from a server through a network and that allows three-dimensional characters displayed at a terminal to move smoothly. It is another object of this invention to provide an AV synchronous reproduction apparatus that can synchronize an image with a score the tempo of which is changed during reproduction. According to this invention, when a server instructs a terminal to graphically display three-dimensional characters, the terminal provides a plurality of motion patterns. The server then transmits scenario data to the terminal, and the terminal operates based on the scenario data to switch scenes for graphical displays. The terminal switches the scenes for graphical displays with a timing for a home position which is common or substantially common to a motion pattern being executed and a motion pattern to be executed next.Type: GrantFiled: October 8, 1998Date of Patent: December 18, 2001Assignee: Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd.Inventors: Seiichi Suzuki, Yutaka Shirai, Masashi Tokunaga, Haruyo Ohkubo, Kenjirou Tsuda, Tetsuya Imamura

Publication number: 20010014730Abstract: Provided are processes by which an ethylenimine polymer and an aqueous solution thereof can advantageously be produced at low costs in an industrial scale. The ethylenimine polymer can be produced by polymerizing crude ethylenimine obtained by a simple distilling operation from an ethylenimine-containing reaction mixture produced by subjecting ethanolamine to intermolecular dehydration reaction, preferably crude ethylenimine having impurity contents which are controlled in the specific ranges. When the above crude ethylenimine is polymerized in an aqueous medium, capable of being obtained is an aqueous solution of an ethylenimine polymer having a higher molecular weight than that produced by non-solvent polymerization. The ethylenimine polymer can be purified by, for example, adding water thereto, mixing them and then vaporizing and removing water under heating. The aqueous solution of an ethylenimine polymer can be purified by heating and condensing it.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 30, 2001Publication date: August 16, 2001Applicant: NIPPON SHOKUBAI CO., LTD.Inventors: Seiichi Suzuki, Yoshiyuki Onda, Isao Satoh

Patent number: 5682362Abstract: The invention is directed at ensuring stable track accessing despite the presence of backlash in a pickup drive mechanism, and at providing a precise track accessing operation not affected by the relative position or relative speed between pickup and carriage at the time a track access start instruction is issued. To achieve this, when the track access start instruction is issued in a tracking condition in which the pickup is following a track on a recording medium, the carriage is caused to begin to move in a track access direction by the action of a coarse actuator, while the pickup is still kept on track of the recording medium by means of a fine actuator.Type: GrantFiled: June 10, 1996Date of Patent: October 28, 1997Assignee: Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd.Inventors: Seiichi Suzuki, Hidefumi Ishibashi, Takaharu Shigeta, Katsumi Yamada
