In various embodiments, a control wafer includes a substrate, a recess, a blocking layer, and an epitaxy. The substrate has a surface, and the recess is in the surface of the substrate. The blocking layer is over the surface of the substrate other than the recess. The epitaxy is in the recess. In various embodiments, the thickness of the epitaxy of the control wafer is measured by a polarized light.

    Abstract: A susceptor for use in an epitaxial growth chamber includes a thermally conductive body designed to hold a substrate. The body includes a first region, a second region, and a third region. The first region extends from an outer edge of the body inwards towards a center of the body at a first width, the first region having a first height. The second region extends from an inner edge of the first region inwards towards the center of the body at a second width, the second region having a second height lower than the first height. The third region extends from an inner edge of the second region to the center of the body. The second region includes a planar surface that is substantially parallel to a bottom surface of the substrate and a portion of the bottom surface of the substrate rests upon the planar surface.

In an embodiment, the method may include: forming a semiconductor material in a plurality of openings in a reference wafer using an epitaxial growth process; performing one or more measurements on the reference wafer to obtain a baseline signal; forming a plurality of gate stacks and stressor regions in a plurality of substrates; after forming the plurality of gate stacks, forming the semiconductor material in a plurality of openings in a batch wafer; performing the one or more measurements on the batch wafer to obtain a batch signal; comparing the batch signal to the baseline signal; and determining whether a defect in present in the plurality of substrates based on the comparison.

When the first stand slides to a positioning location, the first protruding portion is engaged with the first sub-portion and the second protruding portion is located in the second concave portion. When the first protruding portion moves from the first sub-portion to the second sub-portion, the second protruding portion moves to the third concave portion to be positioned.

    Abstract: The disclosure provides a hinge device for installing a tablet computer and disposed at a base having a fixing hole. The hinge device includes a casing, an elastic element, a fixing pin, and a lifting pin. The casing is pivotally connected with the base thus to be capable of rotating relative to the base, and it has a through hole corresponding to the fixing hole. The elastic element and the fixing pin are disposed in the casing. The fixing pin has a first inclined surface. One end of the fixing pin is connected with the elastic element, and the other end corresponds to the through hole. The lifting pin is moveably disposed through and protrudes from the casing, and the lifting pin has a second inclined surface against the first inclined surface. A docking station using the aforementioned hinge device is also disclosed.

When the connector is connected to the connector socket, the connector presses the protrudent portion to allow the rotatable element to automatically rotate from a storage position to an open position. When the connector is separated from the connector socket, the rotatable element automatically rotates from the open position to the storage position via the biasing element.
