  • Patent number: 9601322
Abstract: A product ion spectrum is created on the basis of MS2 analysis data respectively obtained for a parent compound and a metabolite. Additionally, a neutral loss spectrum, in which the mass of each product ion is replaced with a mass difference between the mass of the product ion and that of a precursor ion, is created. Then, a common peak having the same mass on the neutral loss spectrums of both the parent compound and the metabolite is extracted, and a complementary peak appearing on the product ion spectrum of the metabolite is extracted; this peak appears at a position corresponding to the difference between the mass of the common peak and that of the precursor ion. The ion corresponding to the complementary peak is designated as a precursor ion for the next MS3 analysis, and this MS3 analysis is performed.

  • Patent number: 9595426
Abstract: In estimating a structural formula of an unknown substance produced through partial structural change of an original substance having a known structure caused by metabolism or the like, structural change is considered in two stages, the elimination of a partial structure and the addition of another partial structure. First, an additional partial structure is collected as known information in addition to an MSn spectrum of the unknown substance and a structural formula of the original substance. A structural formula at the time when a partial structure is eliminated from the original substance is estimated, and a structural formula of each of product ions is estimated. The structural formula of the unknown substance is determined by estimating a structure that can produce the candidates for structural formulas of the product ions by dissociation.

  • Publication number: 20170011897
Abstract: The mass spectrometer (1) provides an ionization chamber (11) therein with: a probe (15) having a sample to be measured flow path (155) for spraying a sample to be measured; and a standard sample flow path (255) for spraying a standard sample used for the calibration of the mass-to-charge ratio of the mass spectrum into the ionization chamber. The standard sample is intermittently introduced into the ionization chamber via a pulse valve (216). Thus, mixing of the sample to be measured and the standard sample can be prevented, while the timing according to which the standard sample is introduced can be appropriately controlled. It also becomes possible to acquire an accurate mass spectrum for each sample to be measured even in the case where a number of types of samples to be measured are introduced into the ionization chamber one after another over a short period of time.

  • Patent number: 9537380
Abstract: A permanent-magnet type rotating electrical machine, including a rotor including a plurality of magnetic poles arranged at an equal interval, and a stator including a plurality of teeth and a plurality of armature windings. A high frequency voltage different in frequency and amplitude from voltages for generating a torque is applied to the armature windings. A magnetic pole position of the rotor is estimated by using a current trajectory of a measured high frequency current. When dq transform is applied to the measured high frequency current, a current trajectory forms an ellipse on d and q axes. Angular variation ranges of a major axis of the ellipse with respect to a load current and a rotor position are set so as to acquire a predetermined position estimation resolution.

  • Publication number: 20160343558
Abstract: A composition formula of each precursor ion located on a measured mass spectrum is estimated from the m/z value of the precursor ion (S11). A composition formula of each product ion located on a measured MS/MS spectrum is estimated from the m/z value of the product ion (S11). For each product-ion peak, the assignment of the peak is determined by verifying consistency between the composition formula of the product ion and the composition formula of each of the precursor ions (S13-S14). Based on the assignment result, the MS/MS spectrum data are separated and an MS/MS spectrum for each precursor ion is created (S15-S16). In this manner, MS/MS spectra which respectively correspond to a plurality of compounds can be created from an MS/MS spectrum in which the product ions originating from those compounds are mixed, and those compounds can be identified.

  • Publication number: 20160343557
Abstract: Peak information is collected from an MS/MS spectrum in which the product ions generated from ions originating from a plurality of compounds are mixed. Using one of the m/z values of a plurality of ion species as precursor-ion information and the peak information of the MS/MS spectrum as product-ion information, a database search is performed to find candidate compounds for each compound, and a standard MS/MS spectrum of each candidate compound is obtained. For each combination of the candidate compounds, a virtual MS/MS spectrum is created by integrating the standard MS/MS spectra of those candidate compounds, and the degree of similarity between the virtual MS/MS spectrum and the measured MS/MS spectrum is calculated. If the candidate compounds are correct compounds, the degree of similarity will be high. Accordingly, the compound names and other results are visually presented to users in descending order of the degree of similarity.

  • Publication number: 20160329197
Abstract: The objective of the present invention is to obtain an MS2 spectrum for each of a plurality of different ion species even when their m/z values are extremely close to each other and prevent separate setting of each ion species as the precursor ion. In the vicinity of the target m/z, a precursor-ion selection window covering a predetermined m/z range (2×?M) is gradually shifted in predetermined steps (?m) to define a plurality of windows as the condition of the precursor-ion selection. When an MS2 analysis is performed on the same sample for each window, the intensities of the product-ion peaks which appear on the MS2 spectrum change with the change in the central m/z value of the window. From this intensity change, which of the plurality of ion species selected as the precursor ion is the origin of each product ion is determined. Based on the result of this determination, the product ions are sorted out and an MS2 spectrum is reconstructed for each ion species.

  • Patent number: 9464345
Abstract: In conventional Al coated steel sheet, with the Al coating as it is, black discoloration cannot be prevented at 550° C. or more. For this reason, post annealing is used to form a barrier layer and suppress the formation of Fe—Al intermetallic compounds. However, with this method, there were the problems that the steel sheet became poor in workability and, further, high temperature, long time heating was required, so there were problems from the workability, economy, and environmental aspect. The present invention provides steel sheet which has a heat black discoloration resistance even at a 550° C. or more high temperature without additional annealing after Al coating and further is excellent in workability. That is, it is hot dip Al coated steel sheet which comprises steel sheet which contains predetermined ingredients of C, Si, P, S, Al, N, and O plus one or both of furthermore Ni: 0.01 to 0.1% or Cu: 0.01 to 0.1% and satisfies 10×C+Ni+Cu>0.

Abstract: A multilayer ceramic capacitor that includes an internal electrode containing at least one kind of metal A selected from the group consisting of In, Ga, Zn, Bi, and Pb and dissolved in Ni to form a solid solution. The internal electrode has a ratio of A of 1.4 atomic percent or more to a total amount of A and Ni in a near-interface region located to a depth of 2 nm from a surface of the internal electrode facing a corresponding ceramic dielectric layer. A relation between a value X of atomic percent representing the ratio of A in the near-interface region and a value Y of atomic percent representing the ratio of A in a central region in a thickness direction of the internal electrode is X?Y?1.0. • Publication number: 20160261167
Abstract: To maximize a power consumption reduction effect in a case of using a high-efficiency induction motor, when a conventional induction motor is changed to a high-efficiency induction motor, a mechanical device including an induction motor and a speed reduction mechanism related to the present invention increases the reduction ratio of the speed reducer such that the rotation speed of the mechanical device is equal to that in a case of using a conventional induction motor and thus the output of the mechanical device is made equal to that in a case of using a conventional inductor motor; therefore, the load conditions of the mechanical device such as a pump and a fan can be made equal to those in a case of using a conventional induction motor. Accordingly, the power consumption reduction effect by improving the efficiency of the induction motor can be maximized.
