  • Patent number: 6584063
Abstract: An apparatus for recording and/or reproducing a medium includes an elevating mechanism elevating a housing unit in which members are stacked and stored. A carrying mechanism carries at least one of the members between a position where the member is housed in the housing unit and a position where a medium on the member is loaded to a recording and/or reproducing unit. A driving source drives both the carrying mechanism and the elevating mechanism. A switching mechanism selectively supplies a driving force from the driving source to the carrying and elevating mechanisms. A rack part is formed in the member. The carrying mechanism includes a feed gear and an arm. The feed gear comes into engagement with the rack part and is rotatably attached to the arm. The switching mechanism swings the arm so that the feed gear is disengaged from the rack part when the elevating mechanism is driven.

  • Patent number: 6580668
Abstract: An apparatus for recording and/or reproducing a disc-shaped recording medium. A medium is placed on each of a plurality of placement members. The members are stacked and housed in a housing unit. An elevating mechanism elevates the housing unit in the direction almost parallel to the stack direction of the members. A carrying mechanism carries one of the members among a position where a medium can be placed or ejected to/from the member, a position where the member is housed in the housing unit and a position where the medium placed on the member is loaded to the recording and/or reproducing unit. A driving source drives both the carrying mechanism and the elevating mechanism. A switching mechanism selectively supplies a driving force from the driving source to the carrying mechanism and the elevating mechanism. A photodetector detects the presence/absence of the medium on the members housed in the housing unit.

  • Publication number: 20030062013
Abstract: An opening long in the longitudinal direction of a duct wall is formed. The whole of the opening is covered with non-woven fabric, and the lateral width of the opening is set to be not shorter than {fraction (1/20)} of the circumferential length of the duct wall. Alternatively, a porous member is thermally welded with the head of an opening of a small cylindrical portion projecting from the duct wall of a duct body 1, while the duct body is prevented from deformation. In a method for manufacturing the air take duct, a high-melting molded piece is brought into contact with a hot plate so as to be heated. A low-melting molded piece is disposed at a distance from the hot plate so as to be heated by radiation heat from the hot plate.

  • Patent number: 6488300
Abstract: To provide a link type front suspension structure that makes it difficult for a bending moment to act on a push rod conveying expansion and contraction of a front fork to a shock absorber. An upper arm rotatably bridges between an upper end of a push rod and the front fork, and the length of this upper arm is equal to the length between a linking point of a lower end section of the push rod of the axle support arm and a linking point of the arm holder, and is substantially parallel with this length. As a result, a parallelogram link is formed by the front fork, the push rod, the upper arm and part of the axle support arm.
