  • Patent number: 12295737
Abstract: A device and system for non-invasively measuring wavelength-dependent changes in optical absorption of brain tissue damaged by CTE, TBI, concussion, repetitive trauma, and/or Lou Gehrig's disease in comparison to signals from healthy normal tissue for a subject in vivo. The brain, tissues, and fluids superficial to the brain are trans-cranially illuminated by light source(s) in low-absorption spectral windows for tissue in the visible and/or near-infrared parts of the spectrum. Optode(s) are disposed at predetermined radial distance(s) from a light output to collect the scattered and/or deflected signal from the surface of the head. The predetermined radial distance from the light output to the optode is correlated with the depth of tissue penetration for the light collected by the optode. A spectrometer and computer analyze the collected light for characteristic optical signatures of the brain tissue damage utilizing the absorbance and/or reflectance and/or transmission spectra generated as a result.

  • Patent number: 12298763
Abstract: Methods and apparatus for making autonomous vehicle handover decisions are described. A handover decision involves deciding if an autonomous vehicle should be handed off from one worker to another worker. The methods allow for decisions to be made in real or near real time shortly before an autonomous vehicle changes location. Worker time, if a handover is not implemented, is considered including the amount of worker time involved with the worker moving with the autonomous vehicle to the new location as compared to a new worker meeting the autonomous vehicle at the new location or on the way to the new location. Handover decisions can consider worker distribution and/or order priority. Such factors can be used to weight one or more time based cost values with a cost value representation of the cost if a handover is not implemented vs implementing a handover being compared to make the handover decision.

  • Patent number: 12298989
Abstract: Methods and systems are described herein for determining data shifts using change point detection in time series datasets. The system receives, from a change point modelling system, a first model and a plurality of change points detected within a time series dataset using the first model. The system generates, for each change point, a second corresponding model that fails to detect a corresponding change point and inputs the time series dataset into the first model and into each second corresponding model. The system determines a performance difference between the first model and each second corresponding model and assigns severity metrics to the change points based on the corresponding performance difference. The system selects a subset of change points based on the severity metrics and determines a cause of each change point of the subset of change points.

  • Publication number: 20250149983
Abstract: A half-bridge driver circuit periodically repeats switching cycles by closing a first FET via a first drive signal, detecting an instant when a current flowing through the first FET reaches a threshold and then opening the first FET and closing a second FET via a second drive signal. An error amplifier generates a control voltage by comparing a feedback signal with a reference signal, and a variable current generator generates a first current as a function of the control voltage. The error amplifier includes a proportional-integral controller, and a slope compensation circuit that generates a second current as a ramp signal. The threshold is generated by subtracting the second current from the first current. In response to detecting the instant, the second current is sampled and a signal indicative of the threshold is generated by subtracting the sampled second current from the first current.

  • Publication number: 20250147024
Abstract: Fusion polypeptides are disclosed which are substrates for Kutzneria albida transglutaminase. The fusion polypeptides comprise one or more FKBP chaperone(s) and a target polypeptide. Each of these elements is separated from the neighboring element by a linker amino acid sequence. It was found that inserting glutamic acid containing transglutaminase recognition motifs into the linker amino acid chains is advantageous. Subsequent labeling reactions catalyzed by the transglutaminase surprisingly provide labeled fusion polypeptides have superior properties when compared with chemically random-labeled fusion polypeptides of similar design. Assays and kits are provided for in vitro detection of target antibodies in samples.
