  • Publication number: 20250086073
Abstract: Methods and systems to detect and resolve failure in a distributed database system is described herein. A first node in the distributed database system can detect an interruption in communication with at least one other node in the distributed database system. This indicates a network failure. In response to detection of this failure, the first node starts a failure resolution protocol. This invokes coordinated broadcasts of respective lists of suspicious nodes among neighbor nodes. Each node compares its own list of suspicious nodes with its neighbors' lists of suspicious nodes to determine which nodes are still directly connected to each other. Each node determines the largest group of these directly connected nodes and whether or not it is in that group. If a node isn't in that group, it fails itself to resolve the network failure.

  • Publication number: 20250088687
Abstract: Methods, apparatus, systems, and articles of manufacture are disclosed to automate the recording of media for signature creation. Reference signature requests are received from an employee or user. The reference signature request is distributed to automated capture tool circuitry, which plays the relevant media for a meter and provides a status update. When a signature is created, a status update indicates whether it is considered to be a reference signature. Prioritization circuitry assigns and updates a priority for each of the requests according to the priority of other requests, the status updates, and a priority rule set. Reference signature requests with the highest priority are assigned to automated capture tool circuitry for completion before lower priority requests.

  • Publication number: 20250088739
Abstract: Techniques for operating a depth sensor are discussed. A first sequence of operation steps and a second sequence of operation steps can be stored in memory on the depth sensor to define, respectively, a first depth sensing mode of operation and a second depth sensing mode of operation. In response to a first request for depth measurement(s) according to the first depth sensing mode of operation, the depth sensor can operate in the first mode of operation by executing the first sequence of operation steps. In response to a second request for depth measurement(s) according to the second depth sensing mode of operation, and without performing an additional configuration operation, the depth sensor can operate in the second mode of operation by executing the second sequence of operation steps.

  • Publication number: 20250088455
Abstract: Systems and methods use zoning configuration to construct border gateway protocol (BGP) route maps. The constructed route maps may be used to selectively advertise routes between BGP peer devices without having to advertise all available routes to all entities or subsystems in a network. Advantageously, this significantly reduces potential security risks to the network and improves scalability of services in non-volatile memory express over Fabric and other systems.

  • Patent number: 12245786
Abstract: Disclosed embodiments include apparatuses for and methods of separating tissue with opposing jaw members having distal ends that translate toward a surface of the tissue as the jaw members are rotated outwardly to maintain engagement with the tissue. In an illustrative embodiment, an apparatus includes jaw members rotatably coupled adjacent to their proximal ends. The jaw members define opposing outwardly-facing curved channels disposed between their proximal and distal ends that slidably engage a distal pin. A bracket defines a distal socket that receives the distal pin. As the jaw members are motivated in a distal direction relative to the bracket toward the distal pin, engagement of the distal pin with the outwardly-facing curved channels causes the jaw members to rotate to cause the distal ends of the jaw members move outwardly transversely to the distal direction while the distal ends translate in the distal direction.
