  • Patent number: 12368572
Abstract: Techniques for Precision-Preserving Format-Preserving Encryption (PPFPE) to protect numeric values and strings with leading/trailing and special characters, while preserving their precision, both as a protected value (e.g., ciphertext) and when decrypted are provided. In one aspect, a plaintext string is parsed to detect a first and last sentinel characters, wherein any character(s) preceding the first sentinel character comprises a leading character(s) and any character(s) following the last sentinel character comprises a trailing character(s). Any leading character(s) preceding the first sentinel character and/or any trailing character(s) following the last sentinel character are passed through. A ciphertext string is generated by encrypting the first and last sentinel character using one or more subsets of a set of encryption characters; and encrypting the portion of the plaintext string between the first and last sentinel character using the set of encryption characters.

  • Patent number: 12364406
Abstract: A method includes increasing or decreasing a temperature of an oximeter device by cycling oximetry measurements and temperature adjustment at a predetermined frequency. During temperature adjustment, power supplied to LEDs of the oximeter device may be modulated to heat or cool the oximeter device if the oximetry device is above a temperature setpoint or below the temperature setpoint. After the device is heated to the temperature setpoint an oximetry measurement is made using the LED to illuminate patient tissue, detected the light from the tissue after illumination, and determining oximetry information for the tissue. Using the LED for heating and oximetry measurements reduces electronic components of the device improves reliability from the reduction of electronic components. The device can also not power the LEDs to allow the device to cool if the temperature is above the temperature setpoint.

  • Publication number: 20250231950
Abstract: The present disclosure provides various systems and methods for indexing digital (electronic) documents and providing various error reporting and identification functions. The systems and methods may utilize various software, hardware, and firmware modules to identify notations, such as sheet names, anchors, and anchor references on construction documents. Various algorithms and methods may be employed to identify errors, erroneous notations, missing sheets, missing details, and/or the like to aid in the correction of construction documents. Identified notations are indexed and used to create hyperlinked pages that are easily navigable. In some embodiments, the hyperlinked pages may include previous- and next-sheet hyperlinks that allow for direct navigation within a set of pages, according to an order provided in an index sheet (e.g., a table of contents sheet).

  • Publication number: 20250229200
Abstract: A sulfur trap provides separation of molten sulfur from a process stream comprising a mixture of sulfur and associated tail-gases. The sulfur trap includes a chamber for receiving the process stream, a float positioned within the chamber and attached to a stopple. The float and stopple allow the float elevation level to control stopple engagement with an orifice in fluid communication with a chamber fluid outlet, specifically to expose the orifice to fluid in the chamber when the float is elevated by molten sulfur and to block the orifice when the float falls with a diminished molten sulfur level. The sulfur trap includes a pressure relief safety device in fluid communication with the fluid outlet and the pressure relief safety device is configured to actuate when pressure within the chamber exceeds a predetermined level. Embodiments of a method of separating liquid sulfur from gases are also provided.

  • Publication number: 20250232180
Abstract: The present technology provides a mechanism to obtain results of similar quality to that which can be obtained by fine-tuning a generative model from the foundational model without fine-tuning. In particular, the present technology can provide a suitability prompt to evaluate and improve the output of a generative model without fine-tuning. A suitability prompt is an engineered prompt that is provided to a generative model that prompts the generative model to evaluate a candidate response that has been generated by the generative model. Often the suitability prompt can include an indication of one or more attributes of a quality candidate response. When the generative model provides a response to the suitability prompt that indicates that the candidate response is a quality response, the candidate response can be deemed good enough to be returned to a user.
