Abstract: An air-bag arrangement is disclosed which comprises an air-bag (21), an aperture (22) communicating with the interior of the air-bag (21), and a gas generator (23) to generate gas to inflate the air-bag (21). The gas generator (23) is mounted for pivotal movement about a pivot axis extending across the aperture (22) so that the gas generator (23) is pivotally moveable between a closed position in which at least part of the gas generator (23) extends across the aperture (22), to close the aperture (22), and an open position in which said aperture (22) is opened to permit the flow of gas from the air-bag (21).

Abstract: The invention provides a highly efficient technique for encoding a multi-channel audio signal. The invention relies on the basic principle of encoding a first signal representation of one or more of the multiple channels in a first encoder (130) and encoding a second signal representation of one or more of the multiple channels in a second, multi-stage, encoder (140). This procedure is significantly enhanced by providing a controller (150) for adaptively allocating a number of encoding bits among the different encoding stages of the second, multi-stage, encoder (140) in dependence on multi-channel audio signal characteristics.

Abstract: Methods and devices provide dynamic security management in an apparatus, such as a mobile telephone terminal. The apparatus includes a platform for running an application; a security manager for handling access of the application to functions existing in the apparatus; an application interface (API) between the platform and the application; a set of access permissions stored in the apparatus and used by the security manager for controlling access of the application to functions through the application interface. Methods can include downloading into the apparatus an object containing access permissions applicable to at least one function; verifying the object; and installing the access permissions together with the existing permissions.

Abstract: A method and an electronic device for updating data instructions of an electronic apparatus (1) based on updating data. The method comprises acquiring updating data for updating of data instructions, meta data associated with the updating data, and at least one security mechanism associated with at least one of the updating data and the meta data. Then, it is verified by means of the security mechanism whether any of the updating data and the meta data has been unauthorizedly altered. A method and an arrangement for generating the updating data and the meta data are also disclosed.

The gas generator is hingedly connected to a support and is hingedly movable between a closed position in which the gas generator extends across and closes an aperture, and a second position in which the apertured is opened to permit the flow of gas from the air-bag. Abstract: The invention relates to a method for distributing content to a mobile device using a digital rights management (DRM) scheme, adapted for the case when files are exchanged over an external memory or over a serial connection between a computer (PC) and the mobile device, and a mobile device (ME) adapted therefor. The mobile device creates a request file (RORe-questrop) comprising information necessary for forming a rights object file. On the computer side, the request file is retrieved and a response file is sent back to the mobile device including the encrypted content (Contentdcf) and a rights object file (Content.ro). The mobile device receives the response file and decrypts and stores the content. The files may be exchanged over a DRM folder, arranged in the mobile device and accessible by the computer in mass storage mode, or the DRM folder may be arranged in an external memory (MS) alternately accessible by the mobile device and the computer.
