  • Publication number: 20230302472
Abstract: This disclosure provides an improved nozzle assembly. The nozzle assembly includes a spray element for jetting media through an outlet (e.g. onto a surface), an active conduit for supplying a first media to the spray element, and a passive conduit for supplying a feed of a second media to the spray element. The spray element includes an eductor that is actively fed with a pressurized stream of the first media (i.e., motive fluid) via an annular injection port coupled to the active conduit, and passively fed by the second media via an intake duct disposed cen-trally within the injection port. The eductor utilizes the Venturi effect to efficiently prepare a homogenized media jet from the two different media feeds. • Publication number: 20220048137
Abstract: A method for laser welding a pair of metal pins delivers a laser beam to a work-side of the pair of metal pins where a respective pair of surfaces of the metal pins are adjacent to each other and face in the same direction. The laser beam first traces a first path on the work-side to form a melt pool by keyhole welding. The first path crosses an interface between the metal pins. After tracing the first path, the laser beam is switched to trace a second path on the work-side with the laser beam at a delivered rate of energy per unit path length that is less than the one used for the first path. The second path crosses the interface and is within the first path. The method is well-suited for welding of hairpin and I-pin stators.

  • Patent number: 11218692
Abstract: A method for testing and/or calibrating a camera is provided. An optical test standard is produced. A plurality of subareas, with different grey tones, are applied to a substrate. At least one reference image of the substrate is captured using a reference camera, using a predetermined setting comprising at least one parameter. Reference greyscale values for the subareas are determined from the reference image and assigned to the substrate. At least one image of the optical test standard is captured by the camera using a predetermined setting of the camera, the setting comprising at least one parameter. Actual greyscale values for the subareas are determined from this image. An assertion about a sufficient or insufficient calibration of the camera is made based on a comparison of the actual greyscale values with the reference greyscale values or with a predetermined range of permissible actual greyscale values.

  • Patent number: 11138277
Abstract: An adaptive link is generated for delivering a device platform-specific and personalized digital pass. When the adaptive link is activated by an end user, a network request is sent from an end-user device to a digital pass management system. The network request may include header information that identifies the device platform of the end-user device. The digital pass management system extracts query string parameters included in the adaptive link. Based on the parameters, a personalized data set in a specific data format such as JSON is generated. A template that is compatible to the device platform is selected. A digital pass that is compatible with the device platform is generated and delivered based on the requirements of the end-user device. In some cases, the adaptive link may include location information such as latitude and longitude coordinates. The digital pass generated may also be location specific.
