  • Patent number: 11703861
Abstract: Aspects described herein include an autonomous surface vehicle (ASV) for operation within an inventory system of an environment. The ASV includes a drive system, a docking system, a plurality of sensors, and a memory storing a map of the environment. The ASV further includes one or more computer processors configured to (i) detect, using a location sensor, a location of the ASV within the environment; (ii) control the drive system to actuate the ASV toward a corridor defined in the map at a first speed setting; and control the drive system to actuate the ASV through the corridor along at least one barrier defined in the map. A second, greater speed setting is applied when (i) the location sensor indicates that the ASV is within the corridor and (ii) one or more fiducials along the at least one barrier are visually detected by one or more proximity sensors.

  • Publication number: 20230218262
Abstract: An intraluminal sensing system is provided that includes an intraluminal device. The intraluminal device has a flexible elongate member configured to be positioned within a body lumen of a patient, and an ultrasound sensor at a distal portion of the flexible elongate member. The ultrasound sensor is configured to emit an ultrasound pulse in a longitudinal within the body lumen, and to receive Doppler-shifted echoes from the ultrasound pulse. A processor circuit in communication with the ultrasound sensor is configured to: compute a velocity spectrum of particles moving within the body lumen based on the Doppler-shifted echoes; identify features in the velocity spectrum indicative of a lateral position or angular alignment of the ultrasound sensor within the body lumen; and output, to a display in communication with the processor circuit, positioning guidance for the intraluminal device based on the identified features in the velocity spectrum.

  • Patent number: 11694122
Abstract: A distributed, online machine learning system is presented. Contemplated systems include many private data servers, each having local private data. Researchers can request that relevant private data servers train implementations of machine learning algorithms on their local private data without requiring de-identification of the private data or without exposing the private data to unauthorized computing systems. The private data servers also generate synthetic or proxy data according to the data distributions of the actual data. The servers then use the proxy data to train proxy models. When the proxy models are sufficiently similar to the trained actual models, the proxy data, proxy model parameters, or other learned knowledge can be transmitted to one or more non-private computing devices. The learned knowledge from many private data servers can then be aggregated into one or more trained global models without exposing private data.

  • Patent number: 11631481
Abstract: Healthcare object (HCO) discriminator systems and methods are presented. Systems can obtain a digital representation of a scene via a sensor interface. An HCO discriminator platform analyzes the digital representation to discriminate objects within the scene as being associated with a type of HCO or as being unrelated to a type of HCO. Once the HCO recognition platform determines that a type of HCO is relevant, it instantiates an actual HCO. The HCO can be routed to one or more destinations based on routing rules generated from a template or based on the manner in which the objects in the scene were discriminated.

  • Patent number: 11626187
Abstract: Systems and methods are presented that allow for predicting treatment response of a tumor to a checkpoint inhibitor. In one exemplary aspect, the treatment response is directly associated with a relatively high number of patient- and tumor-specific immunologically visible neoepitopes. Specific mutational patterns in the nucleic acid encoding the neoepitope may be further indicative of treatment response.
