  • Publication number: 20240079108
Abstract: Disclosed herein are methods of identifying homologous recombination deficiency (HRD) in omics data, comprising generating a mutational spectrum from omics data; and using the mutational spectrum in a trained model to identify HRD. Further disclosed herein are methods of treating a tumor that has HRD score indicating significant HRD events, comprising: obtaining omics data from a tumor sample and generating a mutational spectrum from omics data; using the mutational spectrum in a trained model to identify HRD in the omics data from the tumor sample; identifying the cancer as likely responsive to treatment with a PARP inhibitor upon determination of HRD; and administering a PARP inhibitor treatment for the tumor upon determination of a high HRD score.

  • Publication number: 20240013874
Abstract: Healthcare object (HCO) discriminator systems and methods are presented. Systems can obtain a digital representation of a scene via a sensor interface. An HCO discriminator platform analyzes the digital representation to discriminate objects within the scene as being associated with a type of HCO or as being unrelated to a type of HCO. Once the HCO recognition platform determines that a type of HCO is relevant, it instantiates an actual HCO. The HCO can be routed to one or more destinations based on routing rules generated from a template or based on the manner in which the objects in the scene were discriminated.

  • Publication number: 20230359531
Abstract: Techniques for data management are described. A monotonically increasing time source that indicates an elapsed time since a reference event may be activated. Multiple snapshots of a computing object may be generated in accordance with a schedule for backing up the computing object, where the schedule may include a retention duration for retaining snapshots. Based on generating the snapshots, timestamps for the snapshots may be stored, where the timestamps may indicate respective values of the monotonically increasing time source. As part of an expiration job, a reference value of the monotonically increasing time source may be identified based on the retention duration and a current value indicated by the monotonically increasing time source. Also, a snapshot of the snapshots may be expired based on a timestamp of the snapshot corresponding to a value of the monotonically increasing time source that is less than the reference value.

  • Publication number: 20230307090
Abstract: Systems and methods are presented that allow for predicting treatment response of a tumor to a checkpoint inhibitor. In one exemplary aspect, the treatment response is directly associated with a relatively high number of patient- and tumor-specific immunologically visible neoepitopes. Specific mutational patterns in the nucleic acid encoding the neoepitope may be further indicative of treatment response.

  • Publication number: 20230267375
Abstract: A distributed, online machine learning system is presented. Contemplated systems include many private data servers, each having local private data. Researchers can request that relevant private data servers train implementations of machine learning algorithms on their local private data without requiring de-identification of the private data or without exposing the private data to unauthorized computing systems. The private data servers also generate synthetic or proxy data according to the data distributions of the actual data. The servers then use the proxy data to train proxy models. When the proxy models are sufficiently similar to the trained actual models, the proxy data, proxy model parameters, or other learned knowledge can be transmitted to one or more non-private computing devices. The learned knowledge from many private data servers can then be aggregated into one or more trained global models without exposing private data.
