  • Publication number: 20250111299
Abstract: Self-schedule suggestions are generated for a user. The suggestions are generated by scoring and selecting open shifts based on user preferences and selected shift features. Schedule days are scored and ranked according to criteria associated with each day. Scored open shifts are assembled into a suggested schedule by iteratively selecting the top open shifts for the top schedule days while verifying that the schedule meets regulatory or preference constraints. The self-schedule suggestions are presented to a user, and a user can accept or reject the suggestions. Rejecting suggestions can cause the regeneration of schedule suggestions using different shift features.

  • Publication number: 20250109729
Abstract: A method for detecting a source of a misfire for an engine having turbulent jet ignition (TJI) during a service routine is presented. A diagnostic tool is coupled to an engine controller of the TJI engine. An increase in revolutions per minute (RPM) of the TJI engine is commanded. An engine roughness is measured and a baseline engine roughness for the TJI engine while all cylinders are in an active state is established. A first main spark plug is commanded to deactivate. A first test engine roughness of the TJI engine is measured based on the first main spark plug being deactivated. The baseline engine roughness is compared to the first test engine roughness. A determination is made, based on the comparison, whether the first pre-chamber is fouled.

  • Patent number: 12265991
Abstract: Enabling advertisers using a computer network such as the Internet and a match engine to submit their offerings to product, service, benefit seeking entities. In some embodiments, a database having accounts for the providers is made available. Accounts contain contact and billing information for an advertiser; and at least one offering having at least a description, a criteria set comprising one or more criterion factors, and a bid amount. An advertiser influences a position of an offering in the advertiser's account by first selecting offering relevant criteria. The advertiser enters the criteria and the description into a listing; influencing at least in part the position for the listing within a results page through an online bidding process. This results page is generated in response to a seeking entity query of the match engine. Pay for performance demographic, geographic, psychographic criteria/characteristics targeted directly advertising (frictionless advertising) is enabled.

  • Patent number: 12265606
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer program products for direct assignment of physical devices to confidential virtual machines (VMs). At a first guest privilege context of a guest partition, a direct assignment of a physical device associated with a host computer system to the guest partition is identified. The guest partition includes the first guest privilege context and a second guest privilege context, which is restricted from accessing memory associated with the first guest privilege context. The guest partition corresponds to a confidential VM, such that a memory region associated with the guest partition is inaccessible to a host operating system. It is determined, based on a policy, that the physical device is allowed to be directly assigned to the guest partition. Communication between the physical device and the second guest privilege context is permitted, such as by exposing the physical device on a virtual bus and/or forwarding an interrupt.

  • Patent number: 12266186
Abstract: A method includes receiving, from a subscriber device, a request including virtual region characteristics and an occupancy threshold, and determining, using image data captured by a camera and the virtual region characteristics, a virtual region corresponding to a portion of a physical region within a field of view of the camera. The virtual region is smaller than the physical region. The method also includes determining, using the image data, an occupancy of the virtual region and determining that the occupancy of the virtual region satisfies the occupancy threshold. In response to determining that the occupancy of the virtual region satisfies the occupancy threshold, the method also includes generating a notification to the subscriber device.
