  • Publication number: 20250098579
Abstract: A chaff and straw spreading system for a combine harvester has a chaff delivery system, a straw chopper and an impeller-based spreading unit. The impeller has a first section for receiving a chopped straw flow from the straw chopper and a second section for receiving a chaff flow from the chaff delivery system. By separating the impeller into different sections, mixing of the flows before the spreading unit is avoided, giving reduced material loss and improved spreading.

  • Publication number: 20250100704
Abstract: A pump system is disclosed including a first pump having a first inlet and a first outlet, and a second pump having a second inlet and a second outlet. The second pump is arranged in parallel with the first pump, and the first inlet and the second inlet are for fluidically coupling to one or more fluid reservoirs. A control system is coupled to the first pump and the second pump for controlling the operation of the first pump and the second pump simultaneously. The control system is configured to measure a value of a first pressure head at the first outlet, measure a value of a second pressure head at the second outlet, control the first pump to achieve a required output and control the second pump by providing a demand for the second pump to achieve a measured value of the second pressure head which equals the measured value of the first pressure head.

  • Patent number: 12256943
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention are directed to devices, systems and methods adapted for implementing intermittent displacement of blood to mitigate peripheral nerve neuropathy such as that induced by chemotherapeutic agents (i.e., chemotherapy-induced neuropathy (CIN)) that are administered to a patient. Such devices, systems and methods advantageously provide for precise, uniform and controlled blood flow occluding (and optionally blood displacing) compression along irregular surfaces of an appendage of a patient. Such precise, uniform and controlled blood occluding compression is imparted upon the epidermal and dermis skin layers within the aforementioned areas of a patient's extremities to decrease the time that free nerve endings located in the epidermal and encapsulated nerve endings located in the dermis skin layers are exposed to nerve damaging chemotherapy chemicals, thereby substantially decreasing CIN caused by prolonged exposure to such chemicals.

  • Publication number: 20250090932
Abstract: A wide variety of devices generate alarms when a particular condition is met. For example, a smoke detector generates an alarm upon detecting smoke whilst a motion detector generates an alarm upon detecting motion when the system to which the motion detector is connected is set or armed. However, in each instance the alarm is the same when the specific condition, e.g. smoke, motion; is met. Accordingly, it would be beneficial to provide users with an alarm which is generated in dependence upon an overall context within which the alarm is established and the resulting alarm generated varies in dependence upon the established context.
