  • Publication number: 20250114522
Abstract: Systems, and methods relate to a medical device receiving a treatment parameter operating point within a first operating region defined by a first set of operating points for which automatic incremental adjustment of a parameter in the current operation is permitted. In an illustrative example, incremental adjustment may use artificial intelligence based on patient feedback and sensor measurement of outcomes. Some exemplary devices may receive a request to alter the current treatment parameter operating point to a second treatment parameter operating point outside the first operating region and in a second operating region in a known safe operation zone, bounded by a known unsafe zone unavailable to the user. In the second operating region, some examples may restrict the step size of incremental adjustments requested by the user. Data may be collected for cloud-based analysis, for example, to facilitate discovery of more effective treatment protocols.

  • Publication number: 20250119390
Abstract: The technology is generally directed to reordering packets received by a network to reduce the unfairness in transmitting and receiving data. The packets may be reordered based on a timestamp appended to the packet. The timestamp may correspond to a time when the sender loses control of the packet and the receiving network gains control. A packet reorder structure may receive the packets with the appended timestamps during a sample interval. The packet reorder structure may compare the timestamp to a time interval for a plurality of timeslots. The packets may be reordered based on the timeslot the packet is allocated to. In some examples, the duration of the timeslot may be dynamically adjusted such that the number of out of order packets received during the sample interval corresponds to a threshold.

  • Publication number: 20250119406
Abstract: A packet gateway may protect TCP/IP networks by enforcing security policies on in-transit packets that are crossing network boundaries. The policies may include packet filtering rules derived from cyber threat intelligence (CTI). The rapid growth in the volume of CTI and in the size of associated CTI-derived policies, coupled with ever-increasing network link speeds and network traffic volume, may cause the costs of sufficient computational resources to be prohibitive. To efficiently process packets, a packet gateway may be provided with at least one probabilistic data structure, such as a Bloom filter, for testing packets to determine if packet data may match a packet filtering rule. Packet filtering rules may be grouped into subsets of rules, and a data structure may be provided for determining a matching subset of rules associated with a particular packet.

  • Publication number: 20250115806
Abstract: A method of the invention prepares a hydrocarbon-bearing formation for stimulation. A bottom hole assembly comprising a plug and a perforation tool connected to a wireline is lowered into the wellbore. Acid is injected into the wellbore such that the acid is in direct contact with the perforation tool, wireline and casing of the wellbore. The plug is positioned downhole beyond a location where a first perforation area is to be made in the casing. The perforation tool is activated creating the first perforation area. The acid then contacts the first perforation area and cementitious debris generated from the casing being perforated. The perforation tool is next moved up-hole to a second location and the casing is again perforated to create a second perforation area. The acid also contacts the second perforated area and cementitious debris generated from the perforated casing. The perforation tool is lastly removed from the wellbore.
