  • Publication number: 20250115277
Abstract: This disclosure describes techniques for autonomous vehicles to determine driving paths and associated trajectories through unstructured or off-route driving environments. When an object is detected within a driving environment, a vehicle may determine a cost-based side association for the object. Various costs may be used in different examples, including costs based on a cost plot and/or motion primitives that may vary for terminal and non-terminal desired destinations (or ending vehicle states). Using tree searches to determine estimated candidate costs, the autonomous vehicle may compare right-side and left-side driving path costs around the object to determine a side association for the object. Based on the side association, the autonomous vehicle may determine an updated planning corridor and/or a trajectory to control the vehicle from a current state to a desired ending vehicle state.

  • Publication number: 20250119270
Abstract: A method for correlating and displaying physical layer and application layer timing information includes detecting an edge transition of a physical layer waveform from a physical clock on a DUT and generating a timestamp for the detected edge transition. A physical clock timing error is determined based on the timestamp for the detected edge transition. Timing protocol messages are exchanged between the test system and the DUT. The test system generates timestamps when transmitting or receiving the timing protocol messages and receives timestamp information from the DUT and a protocol time is determined. The physical clock timing error and the protocol time are correlated and relative times of the physical clock timing error and the protocol time are determined. The method further includes displaying, by a graphical user interface on the test system, a graphical representation of the relative times of the physical clock timing error and the protocol time.

  • Publication number: 20250115805
Abstract: A method of the invention prepares a hydrocarbon-bearing formation for stimulation. A bottom hole assembly comprising a plug and a perforation tool connected to a wireline is lowered into a wellbore having a casing. An acidic composition is injected into the wellbore; wherein a spacer separates the acidic composition from said bottom hole assembly, but the acidic composition is in direct contact with both the wireline and casing. The spacer may be existing water in the wellbore or water injected into the wellbore. The plug is positioned downhole beyond a location where a first perforation area is to be made in the casing. The perforation tool is activated creating the first perforation area. The acid then contacts the first perforation area and cementitious debris generated from the casing being perforated. The perforation tool is next moved up-hole to a second location and the casing is again perforated to create a second perforation area.

  • Patent number: 12271049
Abstract: A vehicular camera includes a PCB having an imager disposed thereat, a lens barrel accommodating a lens, and a lens barrel support structure that protrudes from the PCB and at least partially circumscribes the imager. The lens barrel has an outer surface between the ends of the lens barrel. The outer surface of the lens barrel is adhesively bonded to an inner surface of the lens barrel support structure via adhesive. The outer surface of the lens barrel opposes the inner surface of the lens barrel support structure. With the adhesive in its uncured state and contacting the opposed surfaces, the imager is aligned with the lens accommodated at the lens barrel. With the imager aligned with the lens, the adhesive is cured to adhesively attach the lens barrel at the lens barrel support structure.

  • Patent number: 12268217
Abstract: A method for processing beef includes the steps of preparing a beef carcass for butchering, reducing the carcass temperature by 20 degrees Fahrenheit, removing primal cuts from the carcass, cooling the primal cuts to 32-34 degrees Fahrenheit, and packaging the primal cuts. To prepare the beef carcass, the head of the cattle is removed and the carcass is eviscerated. The carcass is then cooled for approximately three to four hours to lower its temperature to 75-85 degrees in preparation of removing the primal cuts. After this, the carcass is arranged on a butchering device and the primal cuts are removed. The cuts are then packaged and placed in a cooler for approximately 60 minutes to reduce their temperature to 32-34 degrees Fahrenheit, at which time they are prepared for distribution. The entire beef processing method, from kill floor to packaging and cooling, will be complete within 24 hours.

  • Patent number: 12271995
Abstract: In one embodiment, a method may obtain, from an application, (a) an image and (b) a layer frame having a first pose in front of the image. The method may generate, for a first viewpoint associated with a first time, a first display frame by separately rendering the image and the layer frame having the first pose into a display buffer. The method may display the first display frame at the first time. The method may determine an extrapolated pose for the layer frame based on the first pose of the layer frame and a second pose of a previously submitted layer frame. The method may generate, for a second viewpoint associated with a second time, a second display frame by separately rendering the image and the layer frame having the extrapolated pose into the display buffer. The method may display the second display frame at the second time.
