Abstract: Disclosed are various approaches for determining a version of an application for a user to access based at least in part an overall posture of the user and the device launching the application. An application can support multiple delivery mechanisms to allow a user different ways to access the service provided by the application. A posture level (e.g., level of risk, level of compliance) associated with the overall posture of a device and user accessing an application is determined. The posture level can be used to select which version of the application should be launched by the device in order to provide the best experience for the user while ensuring that security is considered.

Abstract: A Dynamic Manifold Locking System (DMLS) enables remote-controlled disconnections and reconnections of pumping units from a pressurized (“hot”) fracking fluid manifold while the manifold remains pressurized and serving a well. The DMLS's connector assemblies integrate high-pressure and low-pressure connections, and remote testing of those connections, in order to enable the disconnections and reconnections of pumping units while the manifold remains pressurized. A Universal Positioning System (UPS) enables remote alignment and connection of two fluid connector assemblies integrated into the DMLS.

Abstract: Apparatuses, systems, and techniques to optimize memory usage when performing matrix operations. In at least one embodiment, a matrix is optimized to limit memory and storage requirements while minimizing loss of precision for a sum of the members of the matrix.

Abstract: A method of making a material for capturing carbon dioxide from the earth's atmosphere, comprises producing an acid and a base with an electrochemical acid-base generator; dissolving a mineral in the acid to produce a mineral rich solution, separating silica from the mineral rich solution to form a silica depleted solution; adding a first portion of the base to the silica depleted solution to remove impurities by precipitation, adding a second portion of the base until ferrous hydroxide (Fe(OH)2) precipitates, then pausing base addition and removing the ferrous hydroxide precipitate from the solution. Then adding a third portion of the base to the iron-depleted solution to precipitate magnesium hydroxide (Mg(OH)2) and/or calcium hydroxide (Ca(OH)2).

Abstract: Depolymerization processes and systems for converting polyolefin waste and other waste plastic to hydrocarbons, specifically liquid and gaseous depolymerization reaction products. A depolymerization or catalytic pyrolysis process can be conducted on a process feed which includes a polyolefin waste and a hydrocarbon co-feed under depolymerization conditions, including contacting the reactor feed with a depolymerization catalyst such as a zeolite-based catalyst, with the system described herein. The resulting reactor effluent subsequently can be used as feeds or co-feeds for making circular products such as circular ethylene and circular polyethylene.

Abstract: Disclosed are multi-ply tissue products comprising a non-crosslinked binder that are durable and dispersible. The products generally have a Slosh time less than 2 minutes, such as less than about 60 seconds, such as less than about 45 seconds. Surprisingly, the foregoing Slosh times are achieved despite the tissue products having relatively high cross-machine direction (CD) wet tensile strength, such as greater than about 100 g/3?. Typically, increasing wet tensile strength, particularly wet CD tensile strength, negatively effects dispersability and increases Slosh time. Despite this trend, the present invention surprisingly provides a tissue product having a relatively high degree of wet strength and good dispersability.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer program products are provided herein for centralized data governance within distributed component computing environments. An example method includes receiving first component metadata associated with one or more operating parameters of the first distributed computing component and second component metadata associated with one or more operating parameters of the second distributed computing component. The method includes determining, via a machine learning (ML) subsystem, a centralized governance dataset based upon the first component metadata and the second component metadata. The method further includes generating a representation of the centralized governance dataset that is accessible by one or more of the first distributed computing component or the second distributed computing component.

Abstract: A cold temperature system for exercising combines wellness benefits of training with colder temperatures. HVAC technology provides a space to exercise in cold temperatures. Methods are additionally disclosed that allow a public or commercial wellness facility (or exercise facility) to provide a controlled cold environment for exercises. A refrigerated area has a chamber with insulated walls and appropriate ventilation installed on site in a preexisting space using modular prefabricated materials. The modular components include access for ventilation from existing HVAC units. Exercise equipment may be provided on the floor of the refrigerated area, which may be separated into one or more exercise areas by insulated or uninsulated interior walls and individually climate controlled such that one exercise area is kept at a different temperature than another exercise area. The exercise areas may have different temperatures optimized for different exercise equipment, or for different workouts.

Abstract: Embodiments of monitoring data assets in a system to apply rules to optimize storage and access of the data assets based on data content rather than data location, by defining rules based on the monitoring attributes, wherein a rule dictates a storage location of selected data or access permissions to the data by one or more persons or groups in the system. The selected data is tagged with a defined metadata tag, and a dataset is created by running a query against a data catalog to derive the dataset. A component monitors data usage and access of data elements referenced by the dataset to detect any violations of the defined rules, and provides a notification of any violation to facilitate remedial action by a user or process. The dataset can span multiple storage devices of different types to define a single processing unit for the monitoring attributes.

Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for a power-generating fluid flow arrangement. In one example, the fluid flow arrangement may include a primary conduit flowing a pressurized fluid and a bypass conduit coupled to the primary conduit. The bypass conduit may divert a portion of the pressurized fluid flow from the primary conduit to drive rotation of a turbine. A dual solenoid operated control valve may be arranged in the bypass conduit to control both flow and pressure in the fluid flow arrangement.

Abstract: Organizing data for data protection based on content data stored in a large-scale data storage system. Embodiments create a dataset by grouping metadata for unstructured data objects that are grouped together by one or more filters. Datasets can be static or dynamic and can span multiple storage devices of different types, so that it defines a single data protection unit for the corresponding content data. A user initiated query generates the one or more filters, and a protection policy is defined that protects the dataset as the single unit based on data content rather than data location. Datasets are stored in a catalog, and are generated by running queries on the catalog, where a query comprises metadata selectors as tags applied to the catalog, where the tags define at least one of a file type, name, location, creation time, or file characteristic.

Abstract: A method of texturing a wall or ceiling with non-acoustical joint compound by providing a collapsible bag having an opening at its top and is adapted to contain non-acoustical joint compound for forming a textured coating on the wall or ceiling and providing a spray nozzle having a low pressure input port, a joint compound suction port attached to the opening at the top of the collapsible bag, and an output port for spraying the non-acoustical joint compound. A low pressure stream of air from an air gun attached to the low pressure input port urges a small quantity of the non-acoustical joint compound to be sprayed out of the spray nozzle when the bottom of the collapsible disposable bag is raised above its top to either allow or force the joint compound to flow into the suction port and into the interior of the spray nozzle.

Abstract: Managing versioning of data objects for a project revised from a first version to a revised version by producing a dataset representing the data objects as a group by scanning the data objects to identify metadata of the grouped data to be processed similarly within a current version of the lifecycle, and storing the identified metadata in the dataset. Data object changed from the first version to the revised version are identified, and the corresponding metadata for changed data objects in the dataset is updated. A version control operation is then performed on the dataset to update all data objects referenced by the dataset from the first version to the revised version. A commit-map and commit-tree are stored in a repository, and version control operations including commit, checkout, merge, branch and merge-branch are performed on the dataset snapshot.

Abstract: A method performed by a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may include receiving a configuration message including timing information for monitoring at least a subset of a plurality of beams to receive a set of synchronization signals and receiving the set of synchronization signals based on the timing information. The received set of synchronization signals include a primary synchronization signal and a secondary synchronization signal. The method may include receiving a reference signal along with a physical broadcast channel (PBCH) transmission. The reference signal comprises a sequence that is derived from an index associated with one of the at least the subset of beams and associated with the received set of synchronization signals. The method may include transmitting a random access channel (RACH) transmission. The RACH transmission includes a preamble sequence corresponding to the one of the subset of the plurality of beams.

Abstract: A configurable antenna for a software defined radio including a first antenna unit having a first antenna element for receiving a first electromagnetic signal in a first frequency band wherein the first frequency band corresponds to a first mode of operation of a software defined radio, an interface unit having a first connector to couple the first electromagnetic signal from the first antenna unit and a second connector to couple the first electromagnetic signal to the software defined radio, an enclosure configured to receive the interface unit within an internal cavity, and a retention bracket configured to mechanically retain the interface unit within the enclosure, the retention bracket having at least one hole for allowing the first connector to conductively contact the antenna unit.

Abstract: Methods and systems for managing and/or processing a blockchain to maintain data security for confidential and/or personal data are provided. According to certain aspects, the disclosed data security techniques may enable access sharing functionality utilizing the blockchain. For example, access sharing may be utilized to file documents, share policy information, and/or comply with an audit. The data security techniques disclosed herein also enable the use of smart contracts to transfer funds associated with payment obligations and/or other forms of blockchain based payments, comply with anti-money laundering requirements, report industry data, validate interest payments and/or maintain agent sales data. Data security may be achieved through the use of public key/private key encryption techniques.

Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for resolving a user input. One method involves associating a user input with a first application based on an initial location associated with one or more messages of the user input message stream corresponding to a first graphical user interface (GUI) display associated with the first application. Thereafter, in response to identifying an updated location associated with a subsequent message of the message stream corresponding to a second GUI display associated with a second application, the method provides indication of the updated location to the second application to generate a graphical representation of a cursor associated with the user input at the updated location within the second GUI display and provide second indication of the updated location of the user input to the first application to respond to the user input in accordance with the updated location.

Abstract: Providing content based data access protection for data stored in a system by creating a dataset by grouping metadata for data objects that are grouped together by one or more filters. The dataset can span multiple storage devices of different types to define a single data access protection unit for the corresponding content data. A user query generates the one or more filters, and an access rule is defined that allows or denies access to the dataset by users or processes as the single unit based on data content rather than location. The access rule can comprise at least one of an Access Control List (ACL) rule or a Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) rule, where the ACL lists permissions associated with certain data elements that grant access to specific users or processes, and the RBAC rules allow or deny access on the basis of role-permissions within the system.

Abstract: Providing content-based encryption to content data in a data processing system by creating datasets by grouping metadata for data objects that are intended to be encrypted with a common encryption key, where each dataset spans multiple storage devices of different storage types, and defines a single data encryption unit for the data objects referenced by a respective dataset. Each dataset is tagged with an encryption tag to enable or disable use of a self-selected encryption key. Encryption keys stored in or made available to the system are accessed for encrypting the data objects using an encryption process. A key management component maps each dataset to a corresponding encryption key of the encryption keys, and an encryption component encrypts, for each dataset, referenced data objects using a corresponding mapped encryption key.
