  • Publication number: 20220138125
Abstract: Processing elements include interfaces that allow direct access to memory banks on one or more DRAMs in an integrated circuit stack. These additional (e.g., per processing element) direct interfaces may allow the processing elements to have direct access to the data in the DRAM stack. Based on the size/type of operands being processed, and the memory bandwidth of the direct interfaces, rate calculation circuitry on the processor die determines the speed each processing element and/or processing nodes within each processing element are operated.

  • Publication number: 20220137843
Abstract: A memory system includes two or more memory controllers capable of accessing the same dynamic, random-access memory (DRAM), one controller having access to the DRAM or a subset of the DRAM at a time. Different subsets of the DRAM are supported with different refresh-control circuitry, including respective refresh-address counters. Whichever controller has access to a given subset of the DRAM issues refresh requests to the corresponding refresh-address counter. Counters are synchronized before control of a given subset of the DRAM is transferred between controllers to avoid a loss of stored data.

  • Publication number: 20220141291
Abstract: At design time, cross-jurisdiction workload controls may be presented by a process platform server to a user (e.g., a workload creator or process builder) who is using the process platform to create or update an application having a workload functionality with zero, one, or more applicable regulation controls. If no regulation control is selected, or if there is no exception provided, the process platform server may operate to block the user from proceeding to complete the workload creation process. The application with the workload thus created/updated is delivered to end user(s). Responsive to a user request to open the application on a client device, a server (the process platform server or an application gateway server) may operate to automatically determine whether a target location associated with the user request is permitted in accordance with a cross-jurisdiction workload control associated the workload defined in the application.

  • Publication number: 20220132188
Abstract: Systems and methods are configured to provide alternate content during video streaming. Content made up of a plurality of blocks is streamed over a first video stream to a user computing device via a first URI. While streaming, a determination is made that alternate content is available. In response, a signaling mechanism is provided indicating such and a request for the alternate content is received. As a result, a particular block that is currently being provided over the first video stream is suspended and the alternate content is streamed to the user computing entity over a second video stream. Depending on the embodiment, the second video stream may be accessed by re-activating the first URI or by activating a second URI. Upon completion of the alternate content, the particular block that was suspended can be resumed to facilitate continued streaming of the content over the first or second video stream.

  • Publication number: 20220125348
Abstract: Methods for operating sensing devices, methods for correcting sensor glucose measurement signals, methods for detecting interferents in body fluid, and analyte monitoring apparatuses are provided. An exemplary method for operating a sensing device includes storing a library of changes in electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) signals correlated to known concentrations of the interferent within bodies of study subjects, wherein the library is accessible to a controller. The method also includes monitoring EIS signals of the user with the controller. Further, the method includes matching, with the controller, a change in an EIS signal of the user with a change in a selected EIS signal from the library. The method determines a concentration of an interferent within the body of a user based on the selected EIS signal from the library.

  • Publication number: 20220131333
Abstract: A multilayer mirror comprises a reflector section including a plurality of alternating layers of a high index material and a low index material, and a filter section over the reflector section. The filter section comprises a first filter layer including a low index material on a layer of high index material of the reflector section; a second filter layer on the first filter layer, the second filter layer comprising a high index material that is different than the high index material in the reflector section; and a third filter layer on the second filter layer, the third filter layer comprising a low index material. Each filter layer has an optical thickness greater than or equal to the optical thickness of each layer of the alternating layers. The filter section substantially blocks ultraviolet (UV) energy, thereby preventing UV energy from substantially impinging on the high index material of the reflector section.

  • Publication number: 20220126820
Abstract: Methods and systems for monitoring use, determining risk, and pricing insurance policies for a vehicle having one or more autonomous or semi-autonomous operation features are provided. According to certain aspects, an identity of a vehicle operator may be determined and a vehicle operator profile and/or operating data regarding autonomous operation features of the vehicle may be received after the vehicle operator opts into a rewards program and agrees to share their data. Autonomous operation and vehicle operator risk levels associated with operation of the autonomous or semi-autonomous vehicle may be determined. Based upon the risk levels and/or comparison thereof, one or more autonomous operation features may be disengaged. A preparedness level of the vehicle operator to assume or reassume control of operating the vehicle is determined prior to disengagement. If satisfactory, an alert is presented to the vehicle operator prior to disengagement of the autonomous operation features.

  • Publication number: 20220110952
Abstract: There are disclosed therapies and preventions of prion protein complex infections. The transcription of the amyloid precursor protein gene and PrP gene and the RNA transcript are the rate-limiting steps and are most susceptible for blockage and control of the process of amyloid protein formation and PrPsc formation. Thus, therapies and prevention regimes for prion protein complex infections interrupt this process at the level of DNA transcription to RNA, RNA transport to the mitochondrion for protein synthesis and deposition in the cerebral cortex neurons.

  • Publication number: 20220112891
Abstract: A wastewater sump assembly for receiving and disposing of undesired fluid and, in some cases, solid waste (collectively “wastewater”). A sump basin includes an upstanding wall a base and a top. A sensor in the form, e.g., of a float switch extends into the basin and is operable to actuate a pump to remove collective wastewater from the basin. The sensor depends from a sensor support that is supported distally within the basin in a vertical manner and is supported proximately within the basin in a horizontal manner, with securement of the sensor support not requiring traversal of the basin top and with the distal basin support not needing to be accessed vertically through a pump access aperture in the top.

  • Publication number: 20220116299
Abstract: A wireless receiver receives location pilots embedded in received symbols and uses the location pilots to detect the first path for every base station the network has designated for the receiver to use in time of arrival estimation. The receiver preferably applies matching pursuit strategies to offer a robust and reliable identification of a channel impulse response's first path. The receiver may also receive and use estimation pilots as a supplement to the location pilot information in determining time of arrival. The receiver can use metrics characteristic of the channel to improve the robustness and reliability of the identification of a CIR's first path. With the first path identified, the receiver measures the time of arrival for signals from that path and the receiver determines the observed time difference of arrival (OTDOA) to respond to network requests for OTDOA and position determination measurements.
