Abstract: A portable electronic device may include a housing member defining a side surface of the portable electronic device, a portion of the housing member defining a side wall of a hole extending through the housing member, a button member positioned along the side surface and defining a chassis portion and a hollow post extending into the hole defined through the housing member, and a first waterproof seal defined between the hollow post and the side wall of the hole. The portable electronic device may also include a biometric sensing component coupled to the chassis portion, a flexible circuit element extending through the hollow post and conductively coupling the biometric sensing component to a component within the housing, and a second waterproof seal defined within the hollow post.

Abstract: Systems and methods for real-time detection and mitigation anomalous behavior of a remote vehicle are provided, e.g., vehicle behavior that is consistent with distracted or unexpectedly disabled driving. On-board and off-board sensors associated with a subject vehicle may monitor the subject vehicle's environment, and behavior characteristics of a remote vehicle operating within the subject vehicle's environment may be determined based upon collected sensor data. The remote vehicle's behavior characteristics may be utilized to detect or determine the presence of anomalous behavior, which may be anomalous for the current contextual conditions of the vehicles' environment. Mitigating actions for detected remote vehicle anomalous behaviors may be suggested and/or automatically implemented at the subject vehicle and/or at proximate vehicles to avoid or reduce the risk of accidents, injury, or death resulting from the anomalous behavior. In some situations, authorities may be notified.

The system provides indications as to whether user interface functional elements are voice command enabled, disabled or whether voice command input is not available. The custom die(s) of the stack include direct channel interfaces that allow direct access to memory regions on one or more DRAMs in the stack. The direct channels are time-division multiplexed such that each DRAM die is associated with a time slot on a direct channel. The custom die configures a first DRAM die to read a block of data and transmit it via the direct channel using a time slot that is assigned to a second DRAM die. The custom die also configures the second memory device to receive the first block of data in its assigned time slot and write the block of data.

Abstract: A system and method for connecting architects and design professionals with building product suppliers or manufacturers in the construction industry is disclosed. An example embodiment is configured to: establish a data connection with at least one architect or design professional (A/DP) platform and at least one building material supplier, building product manufacturer, and other building product expert (BPE) platform; match an A/DP at the A/DP platform with a BPE at the BPE platform based on a correlation between the project geographical location, the project type, and the project section as related to specific building product genres and geographical locations in which the BPE has represented possession of product expertise; and enable communication between the A/DP and the matched BPE, the communication including an option of either an open or veiled chat session, the veiled chat session preventing the BPE from viewing private information of the A/DP and/or their project.
