    Abstract: A system for dispensing a detergent solution from a solid detergent into a dishwasher includes a dispenser that can collect water sprayed into the dishwasher and use the collected water to produce the detergent solution by dissolving a portion of the solid detergent, controlling the amount of the detergent solution produced, and releasing the produced detergent solution between cleaning cycles. The dispenser can perform these functions automatically without being electrically powered.

    Abstract: A control system and method for tensioning an active tether for a multirotor unmanned aerial system is provided. The control system includes a tensioning pulley and a tensioning spring. The tensioning spring is arranged to generate a variable tension force on the active tether. A transducer is connected adjacent to the tensioning spring to sense a linear displacement position of the tensioning pulley and to transmit a position signal to a controller. The position signal is proportional to the linear displacement position. A servomotor in communication with the controller receives a control signal from the controller in response to the position signal. The servomotor drives a cable reel. The cable reel is rotatably mounted in the frame for spooling the tether in response to rotation of the servomotor. The cable reel is rotated by the servomotor to maintain a predetermined tension on the tensioning spring.

The interface is configured to receive input from a user for a user-selected sequence for activating each water zone, a user-selected duration of activate time per water zone, and a number of water pressure cycles for a particular water zone to receive prior to activation of a subsequent water zone. The interface is configured to communicate the input to the microcontroller. The microcontroller is configured to intelligently and selectively discharge water to each of the plurality of water zones based on the input received from the interface.

    Abstract: Various embodiments include a parallel processing computer system that detects memory errors as a memory client loads data from memory and disables the memory client from storing data to memory, thereby reducing the likelihood that the memory error propagates to other memory clients. The memory client initiates a stall sequence, while other memory clients continue to execute instructions and the memory continues to service memory load and store operations. When a memory error is detected, a specific bit pattern is stored in conjunction with the data associated with the memory error. When the data is copied from one memory to another memory, the specific bit pattern is also copied, in order to identify the data as having a memory error.

The performance of each aircraft engine is then viewed in combination with oil consumption associated with that aircraft engine and the routine maintenance program associated with that aircraft engine to route the aircraft and move the aircraft, in accordance with the routing, to a specific location. The sensors efficiently track the performance and physical condition of the engines. Moreover, a listing of identified “at-risk” engines is displayed on a screen of a GUI in a manner that allows for easy navigation and display. Data point(s) that triggered the identification of each “at-risk” engine are easily accessible and viewable.

When in a closed position, the ratchet assembly is configured to interfere with a stream of water. When in a open position, the ratchet assembly is rotated from the closed position by a predetermined angle. The bottom plate has an outlet port aperture aligned with one of the outlet ports and a ratchet tooth operably aligned with the ratchet arm. When the ratchet assembly rotates from the open position to the closed position, the ratchet assembly aligns the outlet port aperture with a different outlet port.

The speaking valve has a cylindrical sleeve (31) extending across the housing midway along its length and in line with the tube. The sleeve is rotatable about its axis and has two openings (36) on opposite sides that can be aligned with the exchange elements of the HME to allow gas to flow from the tube through the exchange elements, bypassing the speaking valve. When the patient wishes to speak, he twists and rotates the speaking valve to block flow to the exchange elements and instead to allow air to be inhaled via the valve.
