  • Patent number: 7818743
Abstract: A method, apparatus, system, and signal-bearing medium that, in an embodiment, wait for expiration of a poll interval and in response to expiration of the poll interval, retrieve data regarding locks on objects and store the data in a log. In an embodiment, the stored data may include an identifier of the lock, a name of a class from which the threads were instantiated, a number of the threads, and a thread stack. The threads are waiting on the locks, and the lock wait times for the threads are calculated and stored in the log. The lock wait time is the time that the respective thread has waited on the lock. • Publication number: 20100151596
Abstract: A method is given for aligning an optical package comprising a laser, a wavelength conversion device, at least one adjustable optical component and at least one actuator. The adjustable optical component may be moved to a command position by applying a pulse width modulated signal to the actuator. The command position represents an optimized alignment of the laser and wavelength conversion device. The actual position of the adjustable may be measured by measuring an output of a position measuring circuit, which may measure the voltage amplitude of an oscillation in a resonator tank circuit during an “off” period of the pulse-width modulated signal. The resonator tank circuit may comprise a capacitive element electrically coupled to the electrically conductive coil. The pulse-width modulated signal may then be adjusted to compensate for any difference in the actual position and the command position of the adjustable optical component. Additional embodiments are disclosed and claimed.

  • Patent number: 7721145
Abstract: A system, apparatus, computer program product and method of performing functional validation testing in a system are provided. Generally, functional validation testing includes data acquisition and data validation testing. During the functional validation testing two devices may be exchanging data. The exchange of data by the two devices may be referred to as data acquisition. The data from one device and the data from the other device may be compared to each other. This may be referred to as data validation. When data is exchanged during data acquisition, it is also stored in appropriate locations in a pool of buffers in memory. During the data acquisition, checks are made to determine if the system is entering an idle cycle. If so, the data validation test is performed by using the data in the pool of buffers in memory.
