  • Publication number: 20210321741
Abstract: A toenail clipping device that provides support for the foot and toes so the toenails can be clipped. The Circular Mounted Toenail Clipper provides a stationary platform for the foot and the clipper is mounted on a rotating bearing assembly. This assembly allows the user to easily position the toenail clipper in relation to the stationary foot by providing a guide for the clipper that allows multiple axis of movement. The toenail clipper is attached to a circular stage and guided through an elongated handle. The circular stage allows the user to rotate the toenail clipper around the active toenail that needs clipping making the task easy. The toenail clipper has a force multiplier incorporated into the elongated handle enabling easy and controllable cutting of toenails.

  • Publication number: 20210315989
Abstract: The instant disclosure relates generally to oral inoculation and specifically to methods to prepare nasopharyngeal and oral material for oral inoculation of COVID-19. Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (“SARS-CoV-2”) viral particles are collected from at least one of a nasopharyngeal specimen and an oral specimen each derived from a patient infected with SARS-CoV-2 or a SARS-CoV-2 variant. Mammalian cells (e.g., Vero-E6 and/or Vero-CCL81 cells) are infected with the SARS-CoV-2 viral particles to produce infected mammalian cells. The infected mammalian cells are cultured to produce a mammalian cell culture. SARS-CoV-2 viral particles are collected from the mammalian cell culture to produce isolated viral particles. The isolated viral particles are frozen to produce a frozen isolate. The frozen isolate is partitioned into a plurality of tablets each having a therapeutically effective amount of the SARS-CoV-2 viral particles. An enteric coating is applied to each tablet.

  • Patent number: 11101915
Abstract: The subject method for delivering power to a moving target wirelessly via electromagnetic time reversal can find applications in wireless electrical transmission to portable devices, wireless heating of portable devices, novel wirelessly powered accelerometers, hyperthermic treatment of cancers, and many other applications. The subject non-linear time reversed electromagnetic waves based wireless power transmission (WPT) system targets either a single linear or non-linear object where a selective targeting between two diodes has been demonstrated simultaneously with different degrees of non-linearity in a three-dimensional ray-chaotic billiard model. A dual-purpose rectenna with harmonic generation for wireless power transfer by non-linear time-reversal has been designed for the subject system using the Schottky diode.

  • Patent number: 11023109
Abstract: In various embodiments, methods and systems for implementing a multi-device mixed interactivity system are provided. The interactivity system includes paired mixed-input devices for interacting and controlling virtual objects. In operation, a selection profile associated with a virtual object is accessed. The selection profile is generated based on a selection input determined using real input associated with a selection device and virtual input associated with a mixed-reality device. The selection device has a first display and the mixed-reality device has a second display that both display the virtual object. An annotation input for the virtual object based on a selected portion corresponding to the selection profile is received. An annotation profile based on the annotation input is generated. The annotation profile includes annotation profile attributes for annotating a portion of the virtual object. An annotation of the selected portion of the virtual reality object is caused to be displayed.

  • Publication number: 20210154951
Abstract: A method of forming a tool includes applying a first build ply to an initial ply. A second build ply is applied to the first build ply. Successive build plies are applied to build on the second build ply, the successive build plies including a medial section of build plies and a last build ply. A surface defined by the last build ply, the first build ply, and leading edges of the build plies therebetween define a substantially curvature-continuous surface profile extending between a first segment and a second segment. A shape of the substantially curvature-continuous surface profile is determined based on an adjusted ply drop ratio for at least a portion of the successive build plies.

  • Publication number: 20210117561
Abstract: Access to data and resources in a multi-tenant computing system is managed by tagging the data and resources with attributes, as well as by tagging users with attributes. Tenant-specific access policies are configured. When an access request is received from a workload, a policy decision engine processes the attributes that are tagged to the requesting workload (e.g., user, application, etc.) as well as those tagged to the requested data or resource, given a relevant tenant-specific policy. An access decision is provided in response to the access request, and the access decision can be enforced by a tenant-specific enforcement system.
