  • Publication number: 20230211096
Abstract: An oscillatory respiratory therapy device 100 has an opening 8 to atmosphere through which air passes to the user. The device has a visual indicator 20 including a paper indicator 25 and a dye reservoir 29 mounted at the opening. Before use, the opening 8 is covered by a removable cover strip 21 that prevents air flowing through the opening. The cover strip 21 is attached to the dye reservoir 29 so that the reservoir is pulled against the paper indicator 25 when the cover strip is removed, thereby the device to be used. This causes dye to flow gradually from the reservoir 29 and spread outwardly across the paper indicator 25, which is marked to indicate duration of use.

  • Publication number: 20230191060
Abstract: Apparatus (20) for fitting to the machine end of a tracheostomy tube (10) includes both an HME and a speaking valve (30). The HME includes two exchange elements (28, 29) at opposite ends of a housing (23) extending laterally of a coupling (25) for fitting on the tube. The speaking valve has a cylindrical sleeve (31) extending across the housing midway along its length and in line with the tube. The sleeve is rotatable about its axis and has two openings (36) on opposite sides that can be aligned with the exchange elements of the HME to allow gas to flow from the tube through the exchange elements, bypassing the speaking valve. When the patient wishes to speak, he twists and rotates the speaking valve to block flow to the exchange elements and instead to allow air to be inhaled via the valve.

  • Publication number: 20230177906
Abstract: A physical access control system enables acceptable portal entry codes upon receiving each physical access request by operating on the elapsed time from a previous physical access request to generate a temporal credential. The controller receives a plurality of physical access requests from a plurality of mobile application devices. Upon authenticating the first access request, the controller eliminates repetition from the space of acceptable successor requests from each mobile application device. Monotonic nonces advance the range of temporal code matches. Entry code generation is decentralized to distributed application devices and is inherently unknowable until a successor access request is initiated by the same application device.

  • Patent number: 11606251
Abstract: Techniques for deploying a server stack having a cross-server dependency are disclosed. A deployment engine initiates a deployment process for a server stack. The deployment engine provisions servers of one server type (“requisite servers”). The deployment engine attempts to provision servers of another server type (“dependent servers”). The deployment engine executes a test that requires the dependent servers to invoke a service executed by the requisite servers. Based on the test results, the deployment engine determines that an operational requirement of the dependent servers is not satisfied. The deployment engine modifies a configuration for the requisite servers to satisfy the operational requirement of the dependent servers. The deployment engine re-provisions the requisite servers using the modified configuration. The deployment engine completes the deployment process for the server stack.

  • Patent number: 11580239
Abstract: Access to data and resources in a multi-tenant computing system is managed by tagging the data and resources with attributes, as well as by tagging users with attributes. Tenant-specific access policies are configured. When an access request is received from a workload, a policy decision engine processes the attributes that are tagged to the requesting workload (e.g., user, application, etc.) as well as those tagged to the requested data or resource, given a relevant tenant-specific policy. An access decision is provided in response to the access request, and the access decision can be enforced by a tenant-specific enforcement system.

  • Publication number: 20230012259
Abstract: Prevention of voice misappropriation in voice interaction/response systems. The system relies on telemetry data, including thermal data of components to determine whether a received voice command was made by actual voice. If the voice command is determined to have been made by an actual voice, a response to the command is generated and transmitted, otherwise if the voice command is determined to have likely not been made by an actual voice (e.g., artificial means replicating a voice, such as a laser or the like), no response to the command is transmitted or action taken with respect to the command.

  • Patent number: 11543947
Abstract: In various embodiments, methods and systems for implementing a multi-device mixed interactivity system are provided. The interactivity system includes paired mixed-input devices for interacting and controlling virtual objects. In operation, a selection profile associated with a virtual object is accessed. The selection profile is generated based on a selection input determined using real input associated with a selection device and virtual input associated with a mixed-reality device. The selection device has a first display and the mixed-reality device has a second display that both display the virtual object. An annotation input for the virtual object based on a selected portion corresponding to the selection profile is received. An annotation profile based on the annotation input is generated. The annotation profile includes annotation profile attributes for annotating a portion of the virtual object. An annotation of the selected portion of the virtual reality object is caused to be displayed.

  • Patent number: 11538026
Abstract: One embodiment of the present disclosure provides a system and associated processes for sharing cardholder data (CHD) between a merchant that utilizes tokenization and a second merchant that may or may not utilize tokenization. In one embodiment, the merchant, or an employee of the merchant, can use the system and associated processes to reacquire CHD from a tokenization provider system. In one embodiment, the merchant identifies to the tokenization provider system a desire to share CHD, which is associated with a token, with a second merchant. The merchant and/or the tokenization provider system can then invite the second merchant to register with the tokenization provider system. Once registered with the tokenization provider system, the second merchant can access any CHD that the merchant associated with the second merchant.

  • Patent number: 11521623
Abstract: A system for identifying a speaker in a multi-speaker environment comprises a processor operably coupled with a memory. The system receives a request to identify a first speaker in an audio file. The system splits the audio file into audio snippets based on a probability of each audio snippet comprising one or more utterances being above a threshold percentage. For each audio snippet, the system generates a frequency representation of the audio snippet in a time domain. The system generates a feature vector of numerical values representing voice features associated with one or both of the first speaker and the second speaker. The system determines whether the feature vector corresponds to the target vector labeled with the first speaker. In response to determining that the feature vector corresponds to the target vector, the system determines that one or more utterances in the audio snippet are spoken by the first speaker.
