  • Patent number: 11491722
Abstract: An apparatus for producing a three-dimensional object by spray deposition including a powder conveyance line A arranged to channel a flow of spray material entrained in a carrier gas to a nozzle (a first flow). The apparatus also has a process line B arranged to channel a flow of gas to the nozzle (a second flow). The apparatus also has a spray nozzle. The apparatus is such that pressure and temperature parameters of the first flow are controlled in real time, but for the second flow these parameters are not controlled in real time. The two flows merge to cause spray material to be propelled from the nozzle to a substrate to create a three-dimensional object.

  • Patent number: 11151165
Abstract: Described herein is a system and method for utilizing data flow analysis to perform data classification with respect to a source dataset and a generated derived dataset. A flow confidence for a field is calculated using an adaptive algorithm in accordance with the action performed and the derived dataset. An associated derived confidence for a particular tag is calculated in accordance with an associated confidence and the flow confidence. When the associated derived confidence is greater than or equal to a first threshold, the particular tag is copied to the derived dataset. In some embodiments, when the associated derived confidence is less than or equal to a second threshold, the particular tag is not copied to the derived dataset. Otherwise an action to be taken is identified. A response to the action is received and the adaptive algorithm is modified in accordance with the received response.

  • Publication number: 20210264648
Abstract: A method of rendering a plurality of objects to a display of a computing device comprises a rendering process which performs steps of: traversing a render tree which is indicative of a hierarchy of the plurality of objects; allocating a buffer in a graphics memory of the computing device; and generating an image scratchpad. The image scratchpad is generated by determining, for each object, an object size and object layout parameters; determining a render status of the object; and responsive to a determination that the render status indicates that image data of the object is in a form which can be directly written to the graphics memory, appending to the image scratchpad by writing the image data of the object to an unoccupied area of the buffer. Respective image or text objects are rendered to the display by retrieving image data from the image scratchpad 552 scratchpad, and drawing the retrieved image data based on respective object layout parameters.

  • Publication number: 20210263644
Abstract: A method of simultaneously displaying a plurality of user interface pages on a display screen of a computing device includes generating a render tree comprising a plurality of objects each having one or more layout parameters, the plurality of objects including a plurality of page objects each having one or more child objects. A launcher application is first attached to a first container and then a list object is attached to the first container, the list object comprising a plurality of page containers to which the page objects are attached. The render tree is traversed to recursively attach the one or more child objects to respective page containers. In response to user input the list object is transformed to a grid object, the grid object comprising transformed page containers having transformed layout parameters, the transformed layout parameters being generated from layout parameters of the page objects in accordance with a grid layout.

  • Patent number: 11088990
Abstract: Some embodiments provide a method for distributing firewall configuration in a datacenter comprising multiple host machines. The method retrieves a rule in the firewall configuration for distribution to the host machines. The firewall rule is associated with a minimum required version number. The method identifies a high-level construct in the firewall rule. The method queries a translation cache for the identified high-level construct. The translation cache stores previous translation results for different high-level constructs. Each stored translation result is associated with a version number. When the translation cache has a stored previous translation result for the identified high-level construct that is associated with a version number that is equal to or newer than the minimum required version number, the method uses the previous translation result stored in the cache to translate the identified high-level construct to a low-level construct.

  • Patent number: 11082400
Abstract: Some embodiments provide a method for managing firewall protection in a datacenter that includes multiple host machines that each hosts a set of data compute nodes. The method maintains a firewall configuration for the host machines at a network manager of the data center. The firewall configuration includes multiple firewall rules to be enforced at the host machines. The method aggregates a first set of updates to the firewall configuration into a first aggregated update and associates the first aggregated update with a first version number. The method distributes a first host-level firewall configuration update to a first host machine based on the first aggregated update and associates the first host machine with the first version number. The method aggregates a second set of updates to the firewall configuration into a second aggregated update and associates the second aggregated update with a second version number.
