  • Publication number: 20170113621
Abstract: A device, kit, and method that utilize a cover for covering a load space of a vehicle. The cover is movable between a retracted position in which the load space is uncovered and a deployed position in which the load space is at least partially covered. A detector is used for detecting an object in the path of the cover, such that damage to the object or cover may be avoided during deployment of the cover.

  • Publication number: 20170082979
Abstract: An electronic timepiece for identifying time by colored light. The electronic timepiece is configured to identify time utilizing colored light corresponding to predetermined digits, rather than identifying time in digital or analog fashion. The electronic timepiece includes a lighting assembly having light sources that correspond to the hour of day, the minute of day, and the seconds of day. Each light source is coupled to a microcontroller that generates the time of day. The light sources are configured to emit a certain color of light based on the time of day communicated by the microcontroller. The emitted color represents a specific digit, such that a user can determine the time of day based on the combination of colors displayed by the lighting assembly.

  • Publication number: 20170035155
Abstract: A garment has: a pair of fabric panels each connected to a zip tape; the zip tape including a pair of rows of zip teeth; a zip slider, having a bridge extending upwardly and a pull tab connected to the bridge via an intermediate link; the zip slider being movable along the zip tape to interdigitate the rows of zip teeth by pulling of the pull tab; the panels provide a pair of lips extending over the zip teeth thereby to cover the slider; the intermediate link, pull tab and bridge are constructed so that rotation of the pull tab causes the intermediate link to bear against outer surfaces of the bridge.

  • Publication number: 20170013920
Abstract: A zip slider has: a slider body having upper and lower elements providing two entry channels through which zip teeth pass and slider un/mating; a pull tab having a cam; a biasing spring having a locking prong and a follower surface bearing against the cam. The cam on the follower surface biases the tab into a closed position in which it lies against the upper element. When the tab is in a lifted position, the cam action on the follower surface raises the prong above the mated teeth, enabling relative motion of the teeth and body; when the tab is in the closed position, the prong bears against the teeth to prevent unwanted relative slider and teeth motion. The slider has a counter bias, acting between the upper element and the tab to apply a biasing force on the tab acting against the action of the cam and follower surface.

  • Patent number: 9437322
Abstract: An active precharge circuit for a non-volatile memory array which minimizes write disturb to non-selected memory cells during programming is disclosed. In a programming cycle, all bitlines are pre-charged to a program inhibit voltage level and held at the program inhibit voltage level with current or voltage sources coupled to each of the bitlines in a precharge operation and a following programming operation. In the programming operation, a bitline connected to a memory cell to be programmed is driven to a programming level, such as VSS, while the active precharge circuit is enabled to enable programming thereof. Because the other non-selected bitlines are held at the program inhibit voltage level, they will not be inadvertently programmed when the programming voltage is supplied by the word line.

  • Publication number: 20160148229
Abstract: A weather-based industry analysis system that determines one or more correlations between historical industry performance data and historical meteorological data, determines one or more predicted weather conditions, generates an industry forecast based on the one or more predicted weather conditions and the correlation between the historical industry performance data and the predicted weather conditions, and outputs the industry forecast for transmittal to a remote computer system.

  • Publication number: 20160101423
Abstract: A method of washing an array of pipette tips (94) with residual biological material includes lowering the array of pipette tips (94) into a wash basin (20) that includes an array of flush ports (22). A vacuum is generated such that the residual biological material in the array of pipette tips (94) is evacuated through the array of flush ports (22). A wash cycle is performed that includes raising the array of pipette tips (94) from the wash basin (20), filling the wash basin (20) with a primary wash fluid, lowering the array of pipette tips (94) into the wash basin (20), miming a pipette tip cleansing cycle, and generating a vacuum such that the primary wash fluid in the array of pipette tips (94) and the wash basin (20) is evacuated through the array of flush ports (22).
