  • Publication number: 20210379362
Abstract: Autoinflammatory and mitochondrial disorders can be treated by positioning a plurality of electrodes in or on a subject's body, and applying an AC voltage between the plurality of electrodes so as to impose an alternating electric field through the tissue that is being affected by the autoinflammatory or mitochondrial disease. The frequency and field strength of the alternating electric field are selected such that the alternating electric field inhibits inflammation or mitochondrial disorders in the tissue.

  • Publication number: 20200309438
Abstract: An electronic expansion valve (EEV) controller allows a user to drive the stepper motor of EEVs. Thus, the EEVs can be toggled between an open position or a closed position. The EEV controller includes a housing, a portable power supply, a motor driver printed circuit board (PCB), a power switch, a directional switch, and a motor connector. The housing is used to protect and hold in place the motor driver PCB, the portable power supply, the power switch, the directional switch, and the motor connector. The portable power supply is used to provide electrical energy to the motor driver PCB and to the stepper motor of EEVs through the motor connector. The power switch allows a user to manually turn on or off the EEV controller and the stepper motor. The directional switch is used to toggle the stepper motor between a clockwise rotation or a counter-clockwise rotation.

  • Patent number: 10369556
Abstract: An integrated process for gasoline production is described. The process includes introducing a feed comprising n-C5 hydrocarbons into a disproportionation reaction zone in the presence of a disproportionation catalyst to form a disproportionation mixture comprising iso-C4 and C6+ disproportionation products and unreacted n-C5 hydrocarbons. An iso-C4 hydrocarbon stream and an olefin feed are introduced into an alkylation reaction zone in the presence of an alkylation catalyst to produce an alkylation mixture comprising alkylate and unreacted iso-C4 paraffins. The disproportionation mixture and the alkylation mixture are combined, and the combined mixture is separated into at least a stream comprising the alkylate product, an iso-C4 stream, and an unreacted n-C5 hydrocarbon stream. The iso-C4 stream is recycled to the alkylation reaction zone, and the unreacted n-C5 hydrocarbon stream is recycled to the disproportionation reaction zone. The stream comprising the alkylate product is recovered.

  • Patent number: 10337385
Abstract: A method for monitoring an SCR injection system is disclosed. The method includes operating a pump, and measuring a first pressure drop value in the SCR injection system during actuation of a reductant injector. A second pressure drop value in the SCR injection system is measured during a further actuation of the reductant injector. It is determined to perform a deposit mitigation strategy based on the first pressure drop value and the second pressure drop value.

  • Patent number: 9948091
Abstract: Silicon-controlled rectifier (SCR) based circuit for ECG protection under defibrillator pulse is disclosed. The SCR-based clamp is a symmetric structure for dual-direction voltage tolerance protection based on two anti-series P-well/N-well lateral blocking junctions isolated from P-substrate by the N-buried layer. The injector regions (n+/p+) are substantially lengthened in order to accommodate a larger number of contact rows than typically used for ESD pulses specification. A stack of metal layers may also be used to provide high current and heat-sink capability with each electrode metal layer fully filled with VIAs.
