    Abstract: Disclosed is a method for transmitting a dedicated physical data channel signal over a dedicated physical data channel in the absence of transmission data to be transmitted over the dedicated physical data channel in order to properly maintain a target SIR (Signal-to-Interference Ratio) when there exists new transmission data after the absence of the transmission data in a CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access) mobile communication system. The method comprises generating a dummy bit generation request signal in the absence of the transmission data; and upon receipt of the dummy bit generation request signal, generating a dummy bit stream, and transmitting a dedicated physical data channel signal created by attaching the CRC bit stream to the dummy bit stream.

A BCAST Subscription Management (BSM) sends a service creation request message to a BCAST Service Distribution/Adaptation (BSDA), the service creation request message including at least one purchase data fragment to which maximum allowed content and maximum allowed service elements are added. The BSDA creates a service guide using the purchase data fragments, and delivers it to a terminal. The terminal checks a service type in the service guide, sends a subscription request for the personalized service to the BSM, receives an encryption key associated with the personalized service, and receives the personalized service with the encryption key.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a controller for a cardiopulmonary resuscitation apparatus. Automation and precise control can be realized in the cardiopulmonary resuscitation apparatus by using a driving unit involving in constricting the chest band of the cardiopulmonary resuscitation apparatus, locking, and pressing the chest by air pressure, and a control unit controlling the driving unit according to a control signal. Further, air pressure used in driving the cardiopulmonary resuscitation apparatus is controlled so as to be also supplied to a line of artificial respiration, such that a simple construction of the cardiopulmonary resuscitation apparatus and automation of artificial respiration are obtained. Thanks to the present invention, the operator does not have to care about the operation of the cardiopulmonary resuscitation apparatus while performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation, which allows the operator pay more attention to taking care of a patient.

    Abstract: Disclosed is an uplink random access procedure in an NB-TDD (Narrow Band Time Division Duplexing) system. To achieve an acknowledgement for data transmission from a UTRAN (UMTS Terrestrial Radio Access Network), a UE selects one of a plurality of sync codes by which the UTRAN identifies UEs that request data transmission and transmits the selected sync code in a time slot of a sub-frame to the UTRAN. Then, the UE receives the sync code information, information about the arrival time of the sync code, time update information indicating a variation in the transmission time of data, and power information indicating an adjustment to a power gain in the UE from the UTRAN on an FPACH (Fast Physical Access Channel). The UE transmits the data on a P-RACH (Physical Random Access Channel) mapped from the FPACH according to the time update information and the power information.

An interleaver permutates the P code symbols of the (P, 3) simplex codeword by columns according to a predetermined pattern. A repeater repeats the column-permutated (P, 3) simplex codeword until the number of repeated codes is n and outputs a (n, 3) codeword with the n repeated code symbols.
