  • Publication number: 20190276857
Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for production of ethanol from lignocellulosic biomass via modified simultaneous saccharification and co-fermentation (SSCF). In the present invention, enzymatic hydrolysis is preceded by mainly C5 sugar fermentation and low enzymatic hydrolysis and succeeds by mainly C6 sugar fermentation at different temperature and duration. This resulted into reduction in enzyme dosage and process time with increase in ethanol yield from acid pretreated biomass.

  • Patent number: 10405264
Abstract: A pairing scheme may add devices to a mesh network automatically. Assuming that at least one device is already part of the mesh network, this scheme may allow devices that have not been paired yet to be automatically added to the mesh, eliminating manual pairing processes. When a new device is powered on, it may broadcast a connectable advertisement packet. The payload of this packet may be secure and not understood by the recipient device. Rather, only a server may have a copy of the device key, and can thus decrypt the advertising packet. The server sends a packet back with a network key and information, and the device then becomes part of the network.

  • Patent number: 10395177
Abstract: Optimized execution order results (e.g., from a Rete algorithm graph) are correlated with a production ordering selected by a user, thereby more accurately modeling the user's understanding of how productions relate to one another during execution in a rule system. An execution report shows in the user-selected order for each of the rules, whether the rule was executed, the inputs matched to partial conditions of the rule, and partial condition evaluation results. User rule management experience is also enhanced in other ways. For example, a graphical user interface permits user selection of a schema xpath, bulk selection of XML schema nodes to define vocabulary used in rules, if-then-else rules, rules with embedded SQL, marking rules as active or not, receiving multiple kinds of input from a single text input box, locally executing rules, importing rules authored elsewhere, iterating over a collection of objects, and validating rules against vocabulary data types.

  • Patent number: 10382321
Abstract: The techniques described herein may reduce global repairs in Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) Label-Switched Paths (LSPs) by using an aggregated link bundle as a primary path when multiple paths are available. As an example, a router may determine a respective interface type for each path of a plurality of paths; determine, based on the respective interface types, whether one or more paths from the plurality of paths satisfies a set of constraints that are configured such that an aggregated link bundle interface type is preferred over a single link interface type; determine a preferred path based on whether the set of constraints were satisfied; configure a routing table of the router with the preferred path as a LSP to the destination; and send, based on the routing table, one or more packets using an interface of the router associated with the LSP.

  • Patent number: 10353447
Abstract: A programmable logic circuit such as a finite state machine is provided that is configured to determine a memory array power-up sequence from a configuration signal to successively enable each memory array. A delay circuit triggers an initial memory bank in each enabled memory array to power-up without a delay. The delay circuit then counts responsive to a clock to determine a delay between a successive triggering of remaining memory banks in each enabled memory array to power-up.

  • Publication number: 20190208464
Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for performing an enhanced network scan. In one aspect, during a network scan of a first frequency band, a station (STA) may provide a probe request to an access point (AP) of a communication network via the first frequency band. The probe request may indicate the STA supports communications in both the first frequency band and a second frequency band. Based on a probe response received from the AP, the STA may determine whether the AP supports communications in both the first frequency band and the second frequency band. The STA may determine to terminate the network scan without scanning the second frequency band in response to determining that the AP supports communications in both the first frequency band and the second frequency band.
