  • Patent number: 10101081
Abstract: A method of temperature control in a cryogenic temperature control apparatus. The method includes operating the cryogenic temperature control apparatus in a first mode, and delivering a first flow rate of cryogen from a storage tank to an evaporator coil in the first mode. The cryogenic temperature control apparatus is operated in a second mode after operating the cryogenic temperature control apparatus in the first mode for a predetermined time duration. A second flow rate of cryogen that is lower than the first flow rate is delivered to the evaporator coil in the second mode.

  • Publication number: 20180295599
Abstract: Measurements from a plurality of Access Points (APs) may be used to determine that at least one AP in the plurality is mobile. Measurements from APs determined to be mobile may be excluded when determining a User Equipment (UE) location. Disclosed embodiments also pertain to AP mobility characterization. AP mobility may be determined based on range rate measurements such as Round Trip Time measurements between the AP and UE; or a Doppler frequency shift relative to a nominal frequency used by the AP for transmissions. Based on range rate measurements, a probability of mobility may be assigned to APs. Information pertaining to APs that are determined to be stationary or associated with a low probability of mobility may be reported to a location server. Information pertaining to APs determined to be mobile or associated with a higher probability of mobility may not be reported to a location server.

  • Patent number: 10097576
Abstract: Systems and methods for analyzing applications for risk are provided. In an example method, the applications reside on a mobile device that is configurable to access an enterprise system. The example method includes evaluating each of a plurality of applications variously for privacy, data leakage, and malicious behavior. The example method also includes calculating a risk score for each of the plurality of applications based on the evaluating; and automatically remediating (e.g., quarantining) the applications, of the plurality of applications, for which the risk score meets or exceeds a risk score threshold. The method may evaluate all of the applications residing on a mobile device. The method may include grouping application behaviors, for each of the applications, that indicate an increased risk into groups comprising two or more of privacy risk, a data leakage risk, an account takeover risk, a device takeover risk, and a malware risk.

  • Publication number: 20180288218
Abstract: A method for initiating a mobile device action based on a user-defined sequence of events includes maintaining, at the mobile device, data representative of the user-defined sequence of events. The user-defined sequence of events is associated with an action to be performed by the mobile device. The user-defined sequence of events comprises multiple events and a particular order of occurrence of the multiple events in order to trigger the associated action. The method also includes detecting, at the mobile device, a second sequence of events and comparing the second sequence of events to the user-defined sequence of events. The action associated with the user-defined sequence of events is performed in response to the second sequence of events matching the user-defined sequence of events.

  • Patent number: 10083026
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed describing an In-Service Software Upgrade for a Software Defined Networking (SDN) controller of a cloud data center. A cloud data center includes a first SDN controller configured to perform session management of a plurality of session instances, an orchestration engine communicatively coupled to the first SDN controller via a northbound application program interface (API); and a plurality of compute nodes configured to perform compute functions for the plurality of session instances. In response to receiving a request to perform an in-service software upgrade (ISSU) of the first SDN controller, the orchestration engine spawns a second, upgraded SDN controller on the cloud data center. An ISSU process initializes the second SDN controller and transfers session management for the plurality of session instances from the first SDN controller to the second SDN controller. Finally, the ISSU process removes the first SDN controller from the cloud data center.

  • Patent number: 10073119
Abstract: A monitor can be installed in the terminal block having a monitor access opening. The installed monitor allows for current measurement without having to disconnect a wire from the terminal block. Similar monitors can measure voltage, detect ground loops, and provide continuous readings of circuit parameters. Embodiments can positively hold probe tips, transmit data over wires, or transmit data wirelessly. Make-before-break monitors allow parameters to be measured without ever breaking the monitored circuit. Break-before-make monitors allow the monitored circuit to be interrupted and then reconnected with a monitor in place.

  • Publication number: 20180246729
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for initializing an application composed of multiple software containers, where one or more of the software containers are associated with dependent software containers. A request is received to initialize the application. A dependency manager determines, from a map identifying associations between each of the software containers, whether a software container is associated with any dependent software containers. Upon determining that the software container is associated with dependent software containers, the dependency manager enables a notification setting in the software container. The dependency initializes the software container.
