  • Publication number: 20240349695
Abstract: An animal feeding device that dispenses food to a domesticated animal, such as a pet. Food is used to motivate the domesticated animal, such as a dog, to move to a target. A target, such as a pad positioned on the floor, is actuated by an activity of the domesticated animal. Upon actuation of the target a dispenser dispenses food. The domesticated animal learns that actuating the target will reward the domesticated animal by providing food to the domesticated animal. By dispensing a small amount of food, the domesticated animal will repeat the process several times over the course of a day, providing exercise to the domesticated animal. The use of multiple remote dispensers, with only one of the remote dispensers actuated, causes the domesticated animal to search for the dispenser that dispensed food, increasing the amount of exercise for the domesticated animal.

  • Patent number: 12118559
Abstract: A method of training a supervised machine learning system to detect anomalies within transaction data is described. The method includes obtaining a training set of data samples; assigning a label indicating an absence of an anomaly to unlabelled data samples in the training set; partitioning the data of the data samples in the training set into two feature sets, a first feature set representing observable features and a second feature set representing context features; generating synthetic data samples by combining features from the two feature sets that respectively relate to two different uniquely identifiable entities; assigning a label indicating a presence of an anomaly to the synthetic data samples; augmenting the training set with the synthetic data samples; and training a supervised machine learning system with the augmented training set and the assigned labels.

  • Patent number: 12109007
Abstract: In some examples, determining a heart failure status using a medical device comprising one or more sensors includes determining a first value of a heart beat variability metric of a patient while an activity state of a patient satisfies an inactivity criterion based on a signal received from the one or more sensors, and determining, within a predetermined period of time after further determining that the activity state of the patient no longer satisfies the inactivity criterion, a second value of the heart beat variability metric while the activity state of the patient no longer satisfies the inactivity criterion based on the signal. A difference between the first value of the heart beat variability metric and the second value of the heart beat variability metric may be determined and the heart failure status of the patient may be determined based on the difference.

  • Patent number: 12112354
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed, using one or more computers. for bidding on digital advertising space associated with media content on a digital platform. Popularity is determined of a plurality of electronic communication and associated clips on a digital platform. A clip is detected which meets a threshold for approaching an activity level of user activity indicating the popularity of the clip. The clip meeting the threshold is labeled as a non-fungible token (NFT) indicating available digital advertising space associated with the clip. In response to the labeling of the clip, monetary bidding is received, based on the NFT by entities buying digital advertising space for digital advertising content associated with the NFT.
