Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for performing amine capture on a heated flue gas using multiple rotating packed beds. By integrating a series of rotating packed beds to perform cooling of the flue gas, removal of CO2 from the flue gas by contact with an aqueous amine, and washing of the gaseous effluent from CO2 removal step to remove any entrained amine, the equipment footprint and overall equipment volume required for CO2 capture can be significantly reduced. The integration of cooling, CO2 removal, and washing can be integrated into a series of packed beds in part by using different packing materials in the various packed beds.

Abstract: Techniques for triggering a transfer of a chat conversation with a user from a chatbot to a human agent based on detection of transfer criteria are disclosed. The chatbot uses natural language processing and a generative model to collect and organize information from the chat conversation to present to the human agent in a report when the chat conversation is transferred to the human agent. The chat conversation is transferred to the human agent by presenting the report and a graphical chat interface to the human agent. The graphical chat interface displays messages from chat conversation between the human agent and the user and displays messages from chat conversations between the human agent and multiple other users. Transferring the chat conversation from the chatbot to the human agent includes presenting interface elements to the human agent for receiving user input from the human agent for transmission to the user.

Abstract: A cartridge is provided for use with an apparatus for heating smokable material. The cartridge has a housing defining a chamber and a pouch containing smokable material. The pouch is located within the chamber. At least part of the pouch is made of porous material for permitting aerosol or volatilized material generated within the pouch to pass out of the pouch from within the pouch. There is also provided a pouch having a first wall and a second wall. The pouch contains smokable material between the first wall and the second wall. A method of manufacturing a pouch is also disclosed in which the first wall is attached to the second wall with smokable material between the first wall and second wall.

The selected one of the plurality of web pages and an indication of the e-commerce shopping cart may be displayed on the touch screen. The indication of the e-commerce shopping cart may be integrated for display into each of the plurality of web pages. While displaying the selected one of the plurality of web pages and the indication of the e-commerce shopping cart, at least one gesture event associated with the e-commerce shopping cart may be detected. Access to the e-commerce shopping cart may be enabled upon detecting the at least one gesture event.

In various embodiments, a broker manager in each of a plurality of networks may receive a subscription request for a network device from a client device, each device being locally accessible or disposed in an upstream or downstream network. The broker manager uses its client broker to communicate with a locally accessible client device, and uses its mediator broker (and, sometimes, an intermediate device(s)) to communicate with a locally accessible network device. The broker manager otherwise uses its messaging brokers to communicate with control channels of one or more networks. Once subscription with the network device has been established, any commands and responses between the client device and the network device may be routed over pub/sub channels via the broker managers and their brokers using name-based routing, without routing based on IP address of the network device.

Abstract: Novel tools and techniques are provided for implementing real-time fault management or real-time fault management system (“RFM”). In various embodiments, RFM may receive alerts from or associated with network devices (e.g., layer 2, 3, and/or 4 devices, or the like) that are disposed in a plurality of disparate networks that may utilize different alert management protocols and/or different fault management protocols. RFM may collect, enrich, normalize, aggregate, and display the alerts in a user interface to facilitate addressing of the alerts by a user. To enable continuous and real-time functionality, RFM may be implemented in a plurality of siloed platforms in a primary data center, with processing of alerts being load balanced across the siloed platforms, with mirrored group of siloed platforms in a secondary data center located geographically distant from the primary data center and configured to be on “hot standby” and to completely take over RFM processing operations.
