  • Patent number: 10486496
Abstract: A method of controlling an air conditioning system for a vehicle is provided. The method includes detecting a cooling mode while the vehicle is being driven and comparing a vent discharge temperature of air with a cooling target temperature set by a user. When the vent discharge temperature is greater than the cooling target temperature the compressor RPM is determined and air is introduced into the vehicle without passing through the interior heat exchanger and the electric heater. When the vent discharge temperature is less than the cooling target temperature, the compressor RPM is determined and a door in the system is opened to guide the air through the interior heat exchanger to heat the air is heated and then the vent discharge temperature is compared with the cooling target temperature again, and the electric heater is operated.

  • Publication number: 20190266421
Abstract: The present invention relates to a system and method for detecting a close cut-in vehicle based on free space, wherein the system includes a front camera detecting free space information displaying objects in front of own vehicle and transmitting the information to an electronic control unit, and a cut-in vehicle detection unit selecting a close cut-in vehicle as a control target through a situation analysis by using the free space information inputted from the front camera, and performing a deceleration control in response to the calculated demand acceleration by using a relative speed of the selected control target, whereby a collision risk of ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control) can be reduced and a traveling stability can be enhanced by moving up a recognition time of a close cut-in vehicle using free space information.

  • Publication number: 20190118619
Abstract: A method of controlling an air conditioning system for a vehicle is provided. The method includes setting a scheduled heating and performing charging of the battery and the scheduled heating. A desire target temperature (DTT) of a user is then received and a discharge temperature of air supplied into the vehicle is compared with the DTT to adjust revolutions per minute (RPM) of a compressor. When the RPM of the compressor is adjusted the RPM of the compressor is determined based on whether the discharge temperature is the same as the DTT, and whether to operate the electric heater is determined.
