  • Publication number: 20090317933
Abstract: In a method of manufacturing a complementary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS) image sensor (CIS), an epitaxial layer may be formed on a first substrate including a chip area and a scribe lane area. A first impurity layer may be formed adjacent to the first substrate by implanting first impurities into the epitaxial layer. A photodiode may be formed in the epitaxial layer on the chip area. A circuit element electrically connected to the photodiode may be formed on the epitaxial layer. A protective layer protecting the circuit element may be formed on the epitaxial layer. A second substrate may be attached onto the protective layer. The first substrate may be removed to expose the epitaxial layer. A color filter layer may be formed on the exposed epitaxial layer using the first impurity layer as an alignment key. A microlens may be formed over the color filter layer.

  • Publication number: 20090138492
Abstract: A method and apparatus controls an MTP device to manage a media file transmitted by an MTP host. According to the method, when the number of files in a folder assigned by the MTP host is equal to or more than a predetermined number while storing a media file received from the MTP host, the MTP device generates a new folder and stores the corresponding media file in the new folder. Accordingly, the files within the predetermined number can be stored in one file. Since the number of files stored in one folder is limited, delay in processing media files due to the large number of files can be reduced.

  • Patent number: 7403271
Abstract: An optical fingerprint image input device for a mobile apparatus includes: a plate-shaped fingerprint contact member; a distortion correcting member for correcting distortions; light sources disposed at both sides of the fingerprint contact member, other than an inclined surface or a back light source in a liquid crystal display element; focusing means disposed at an inclined surface side of the distortion correcting member; and an image sensor. In other words, the fingerprint contact member and the distortion correcting member having respective set-up inclined angles are disposed to discern sweat, water or oil and to correct a trapezoidal distortion which is a disadvantage that occurs when a thin fingerprint contact medium is used, and to form a lens system comprised of a cylindrical lens and a spherical lens for adjustment of a ratio of transversal to longitudinal widths of an image.

  • Publication number: 20060114525
Abstract: An apparatus and method for inspecting a display. The apparatus includes a focus matching unit and an image control unit. A reference display receives a signal of a sample image during a first output period and displays a reference image according to the received signal. A target display receives the signal of the sample image during a second output period that does not overlap with the first output period and displays a test image according to the received signal. The focus matching unit may match display positions and sizes of the reference image and the test image. The image control unit may control the signal of the sample image stored in a predetermined memory to be output to the reference display during the first output period and controls the signal of the sample image to be output to the target display during the second output period.

  • Publication number: 20050228686
Abstract: A method of determining a filename of a digital content file generated by a CE product in accordance with a PSFS standard and an apparatus for generating a digital content file are provided. The method of determining a filename of a digital content file includes generating a first character string identifying an apparatus for generating the digital content file, generating a second character string representing a storing order of the digital content file, and determining the filename of the digital content file based on the first and second character strings. Furthermore, the second character string of the digital content file is generated by increasing character code of the second character string of a last-stored digital content file by a predetermined value. Accordingly, it is possible to overcome the limitation on the maximum number of files stored in one directory of the conventional method.
