  • Publication number: 20060083233
Abstract: A communication apparatus includes a receiving device configured to receive a physical frame in which a plurality of MAC frames, each having a sequence number, are aggregated. A reception buffer which stores MAC frames of the physical frame received by the receiving device. A determination device determines whether or not the first MAC frame in the physical frame received by the receiving device has been successfully received. A reception buffer management device determines, when the first MAC frame has been successfully received, a MAC frame to be forwarded to an upper layer, on the basis of the sequence number of the first MAC frame, and extracts the MAC frame from the reception buffer.

  • Publication number: 20060085467
Abstract: The mapping data include a substituting element describing area, a repeat number describing area, and a repeat element describing area. In the substituting element describing area, it is described that the input data is set to which tag in the XML file. In the repeat number describing area, the repeat number specified in the repeat number specifying area is described. In the repeat element describing area, it is described that the tag name of the tag output repeatedly in the XML file. The hierarchy structure data generating system outputs the repeat tag to belong to the same rank as the tag of the repeat element describing area. On putting out the repeat tag, the hierarchy structure data generating system outputs it repeatedly the same number of times as the number of the value of the repeat number describing area.

  • Patent number: 7030933
Abstract: In a broadcast receiving system for receiving the digital broadcast, when the selection of “channel selection menu” is inputted by the user, the channel information stored in a memory is read to decide whether the configuration of a sub-channel is identified during the current operation, and a descriptor “x” is assigned to the sub-channel not identified to be made displayed in the channel information list on “channel selection display,” thereby distinguishing it from other channels. This allows the channel whose sub-channel cannot be identified to be OSD displayed distinguishing it from other channels such as for analog broadcast and the like.

  • Patent number: 7030388
Abstract: The present invention relates to an illuminant, etc., having a high response speed and a high luminous intensity. The illuminant comprises a substrate and a nitride semiconductor layer provided on one surface of the substrate. The nitride semiconductor layer emits fluorescence in response to incidence of electrons. At least part of the emitted fluorescence passes through the substrate, and then exits from the other surface of the substrate. Generation of the fluorescence is caused by incidence of electrons onto a quantum well structure of the nitride semiconductor layer and recombination of pairs of electrons and holes generated due to electron incidence, and the response speed of fluorescence generation is on the order of nanoseconds or less. Also, the luminous intensity of the fluorescence becomes equivalent to that of a conventional P47 fluorescent substance.

  • Patent number: 7031748
Abstract: The object of this invention is to demodulate received signals having different received signal frequencies with the simple circuit configuration. With the present invention, the fixed frequency signals are generated at the fixed PLL unit 310, and simultaneously, the standard frequency signals corresponding respectively to GSM/DCS received RF signals are generated at the channel PLL unit 330. And using the image removal mixer 370 jointly to received RF signals, local oscillation signals having local oscillation frequencies equal to the received signal frequencies of the received RF signals respectively are formed from the fixed frequency signals and the standard frequency signals for receiving. And since the quadrature demodulators 254 and 264 demodulate the received RF signals using corresponding local oscillation signals respectively, the circuit configuration can be simplified by sharing the image removal mixer 370.

  • Publication number: 20060080026
Abstract: A load operating means controls electricity supplied from a power source to a starter in an auxiliary system for starting an engine. An engine control means and an auxiliary electricity supply means turn the load operating means ON for supplying electricity from the power source to the starter in accordance with electricity supply from a power supply device when the engine is started. When voltage of the power supply device becomes less than a reset level, the engine control means resets electricity supply to the load operating means. When the engine control means starts the engine, the auxiliary electricity supply means supplies electricity to the load operating means at a timing simultaneously with or in advance of supplying electricity by the engine control means. When the engine control means resets the electricity supply, the auxiliary electricity supply means supplies electricity instead of the engine control means.

  • Publication number: 20060080027
Abstract: An engine starting assist system includes an auxiliary ECU having a voltage booster, an engine ECU, a starter relay, and a starter that allows the engine to be started when a current flows through the starter relay. The auxiliary ECU and the engine ECU are powered by a battery and supply currents to the starter relay. When the engine ECU resets the supply of the current to the starter relay because of a voltage drop of the battery during starting of the engine, the auxiliary ECU increases the voltage supplied from the battery using the booster, thereby supplying the current to the starter relay.

  • Patent number: 7027385
Abstract: An optical disk 100 is provided with a hub 3 at the central portion of a substratel. A relationship Y/X?0.015, preferably Y/X?0.05 is satisfied where X is the projected area of the substrate 1 and Y is a contact area between the hub 3 and the substrate 1. As result, no slippage occurs between the hub 3 and the substrate 1 even when they are rotated at high speed than conventional. With this higher rotational speed, the data transfer rate is improved, and irregular rotation and the camming are suppressed, thereby reducing tracking errors and write/read errors.
