  • Patent number: 7024532
Abstract: A file management method, whereby inconsistencies can be prevented between a file recorded in a memory card and the file management information that a terminal apparatus manages, without leaking the information of a file made and stored in an in-card processing system. According to this method, a flash memory accessible from two processing systems 100 and 300 is provided. First processing system 100 requests a reservation of an use area of flash memory 200a to second processing system 300, which, upon receiving the request, implements a reservation processing for an area of the memory section and reflects the information of the reserve area upon file management section 230. First processing system 100 performs the processing of writing data into the area reserved by second processing system 300. Inconsistencies between the file management information that a terminal manages and a file actually recorded into the memory section of a secure card can be prevented.

  • Publication number: 20060068113
Abstract: A method of applying a viscous fluid material for preventing a viscous fluid material (40) from accumulating on a contact type slot nozzle (30) when applying the viscous fluid material (40) onto an object to be applied (50) which has surface irregularities by using the contact type slot nozzle (30). The method of applying a viscous fluid material includes: moving the object (50) in a predetermined transport direction (X); bringing the nozzle (30) provided to a slot (35) into contact with the object (50) that is being moved; dispensing the viscous fluid material (40) from the slot (35) to apply the viscous fluid material (40) onto the object (50); and ejecting a heated compression gas on the downstream side of the slot (35) in the predetermined transport direction (X) to press the viscous fluid material (40) applied on the object (50) from the slot (35) against the object (50) by the ejected compression gas.

  • Publication number: 20060066663
Abstract: An ink jet printer is provided with an ink jet head, a wiper and a transferring device. The ink jet head has an ink discharging plane. A plurality of ink openings for discharging ink toward a print medium and a liquid opening for discharging liquid are formed on the ink discharging plane. The ink openings are closer to one end of the ink discharging plane than the liquid opening is. The liquid opening is closer to the other end of the ink discharging plane than the ink openings are. The wiper wipes the ink discharging plane of the ink jet head. The transferring device transfers the ink jet head and/or the wiper such that the wiper wipes the ink discharging plane from a beginning position located at the other end side of the ink discharging plane to a finishing position located at the one end side of the ink discharging plane. The liquid discharged from the liquid opening adheres to the wiper when the wiper wipes an area where the liquid opening is formed.

  • Publication number: 20060066978
Abstract: The present invention implements a magnetic disk drive usable under a wide range of temperature environment conditions, and a magnetic head assembly. The flying height of a magnetic head slider (1) can be controlled against a change of temperature so that the flying height of the magnetic head slider (1) is low at low temperatures and high at high temperatures, thereby the variations of the coercivity of a magnetic disk (2) can be cancelled. Further, by setting the rate of change of the crown value with respect to the change of temperature to 0.26 to 0.62 nm/° C., the flying height can be controlled so that the flying height becomes low at low temperatures and high at high temperatures, while maintaining the uniformity of the profile of the flying height of the magnetic head slider (1) from the inner periphery to the outer periphery of the magnetic disk (2).
