  • Patent number: 9022304
Abstract: A fuel injection device of a direct injection engine is provided. The device includes an engine body, a fuel injection valve, and a controller for controlling a fuel injection by the fuel injection valve. The fuel injection valve has a nozzle hole, a valve body for opening and closing the nozzle hole, and first and solenoid coils for stroking the valve body by first and second stroke amounts, respectively. The controller performs the fuel injection by the first solenoid coil in an intake stroke period within an engine operating range with an engine load below a predetermined load. The controller performs the fuel injection with a fuel pressure of 40 MPa or above by the second solenoid coil in a period between a compression stroke late stage and an expansion stroke early stage within a low-engine-speed range with an engine speed below a predetermined speed and within a high-engine-load range.

  • Publication number: 20080295031
Abstract: A digital camera records image files time-sequentially on a memory card. When an image sort-out button is pressed, an event delimiter file is recorded behind the latest image file, separate those image files recorded before the event delimiter file from image files recorded thereafter. Thus, image files recorded between one event delimiter file and a next event delimiter file are sorted into a group. Information on a group of image files delimited by the event delimiter file, including the date and time of shooting and GPS information, are read out from tag information of the respective image files, and recorded in the event delimiter file. When the memory card is set in a personal computer that is pre-installed with a specific software program, the event delimiter file is detected one after another, to display all images of the same group in a matrix on a screen.

  • Publication number: 20080193121
Abstract: An operation member cover is attached to a rear surface of a digital camera through a pair of grooves, and an upper end (up button portion) and a lower end (down button portion) of a cross key are exposed from openings of the operation member cover. Inside the groove, an attachment detection sensor is provided to detect attachment of the operation member cover. When the operation member cover is detected, a controller of the digital camera sets inaccessible photographic conditions to preset conditions for entry level users. Also, the controller gets the up and down button portions, exposed from the openings, to function as a flash photography setting button and a self-photography setting button. The digital camera now becomes a simplified, easy-to-use camera.

  • Patent number: 7408574
Abstract: An image pickup apparatus capable of outputting one of successive pictures that is picked up at a desired timing. When the operator of the apparatus selects a continuous shoot mode, sets a mode dial at a “Pre (prior)/Post (posterior)” position, and then presses a release button to a half-stroke position, the apparatus picks up a desired scene at preselected intervals. Up to nine latest frames of image data are written to a main memory while being sequentially updated. Subsequently, when the operator presses the release button to a full-stroke position, up to five additional latest frames of image data are written to the main memory. The image data stored in the main memory are read out and transformed to display data. The display data appear on an LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) panel in a multiframe format.
