  • Patent number: 7195326
Abstract: A photo print is produced from image data. A system controller classifies the photo prints on the basis of additional information of the image data under a classification condition recorded in a smart medium. The photo prints are discharged to sorting trays. The system controller allocates the respective sorting trays to each classification. When the photo print is discharged to the sorting tray, a sorter switches a conveyance route of the photo print in response to a classification signal sent from the system controller. The photo prints are distributed to the sorting trays every classification. Owing to this, the photo prints are prevented from being discharged in a mixed state.

  • Patent number: 7098941
Abstract: An image recording surface of an exposed instant film is held so as to face an optical head module. Read light (white light) emitted from a light source passes a transparent portion of a color-separation filter, a first mirror, a first graded-index-type optical fiber array, and a second mirror in order. Then, the read light is radiated toward an instant film from an opening of the optical head module. The second mirror is set to a read position where the read light is inclined by a predetermined angle relative to the instant film. The read light is reflected by the image recording surface of the instant film and enters a line-CCD sensor via a second graded-index-type optical fiber array. By moving the optical head module in a sub-scanning direction, it is possible to read an image from the instant film.

  • Publication number: 20050231631
Abstract: An image pickup apparatus capable of outputting one of successive pictures that is picked up at a desired timing. When the operator of the apparatus selects a continuous shoot mode, sets a mode dial at a “Pre (prior)/Post (posterior)” position, and then presses a release button to a half-stroke position, the apparatus picks up a desired scene at preselected intervals. Up to nine latest frames of image data are written to a main memory while being sequentially updated. Subsequently, when the operator presses the release button to a full-stroke position, up to five additional latest frames of image data are written to the main memory. The image data stored in the main memory are read out and transformed to display data. The display data appear on an LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) panel in a multiframe format.

  • Patent number: 6760064
Abstract: A camera is provided in which an electronically picked up image is exposed on a silver halide roll film and higher degree of freedom in print size and the cost down of the additional printing can be attained. An image-pickup signal outputted from a CCD is converted into image data through a given signal processing, and it is stored in a main memory or an external memory. A CPU drives and controls a line head of an optical printer based on the inputted image data, and it generates by exposure an image on a photographic film. A panorama picture or the like can be recorded with an arbitrary length in the longitudinal direction of the photographic film. Furthermore, by using the line head, additional information such as the date and time of photographing or the conditions of photographing is recorded in an area between frames of the photographic film. At this moment, the distance between frames is changed according to the amount of the additional information to be written in.
