  • Patent number: 4906955
Abstract: A dielectric filter includes a plurality of coaxial resonators constituted by inner conductors formed on inner walls of a plurality of throughholes which are formed in parallel with each other on a dielectric block and an outer conductor which is formed on an outer surface of the dielectric block. A printed circuit board is disposed at a side of an open end of the dielectric block, and the printed circuit board and the dielectric block are accommodated in a metallic case which is electrically connected to the outer conductor. A projecting portion is formed on an inner surface of the metallic case to support the printed circuit board such that a predetermined gap can be formed between the printed circuit board and a bottom surface of the metallic case by the projecting portion, whereby a stray capacity is reduced. Therefore, it is possible to prevent resonant frequencies of the coaxial resonators from being changed or fluctuated, and thus a filter characteristic of the dielectric filter becomes good.

  • Patent number: 4816859
Abstract: A zoom lens focusing apparatus for a camera includes a zoom ring for adjusting a zoom lens section of the camera to different magnifications by moving a movable lens assembly therein forward and backward. A cam mechanism couples the zoom ring to the movable lens assembly, so that a change in the focal length of the zoom lens section caused by rotation of the zoom ring, is a logarithmic function of the angle of rotation of the zoom ring. A master lens section of the camera also has a movable lens assembly therein which is movable forward and backward by a driving device. The position of the zoom ring is detected while the movable lens of the zoom lens section moves backward or forward, and a sampling pulse generating circuit produces a pulse corresponding to the position of the zoom ring. A voltage which changes corresponding to the distance of the subject from the camera is applied to a charge-and-discharge circuit and the output thereof is held in a sample and hold circuit.

  • Patent number: 4573783
Abstract: A focusing control for a camera which uses a reflected beam of light to control extension of the lens. The reflected light beam is received by a photodetector having two aligned photodetectors which are movable with the camera lens. The circuitry controlling the lens movement processes the photo-detector signal by producing integrated sum and differences signals from the two detectors and using these signals to provide indications of the direction and amount of extension of the lens necessary to be in focus. The processor uses comparators, a counter for measuring extension and a memory for remembering the direction of misfocus.

  • Patent number: 4550994
Abstract: An automatic focusing device for a cine camera operates so that the speed at which the lens is moved to its optimum focusing position decreases as a perfect focus is reached. A comparator determines how far out of focus the system is, and a pulse width modulator provides a zero to 100% energization signal to the servo control circuit. The farther the system is out of focus, the larger percentage energization signal from the pulse width modulator and the faster the lens will be moved toward the optimum position.
