    Abstract: A charge pump circuit receives a battery voltage of a power line, and outputs a raising voltage proportional to the battery voltage. A low voltage detecting circuit detects a low voltage state in which a detecting voltage obtained by dividing the raising voltage. Thus, it is possible to indirectly detect a low voltage state in which the battery voltage is lower than a predetermined threshold value. When the low voltage state is detected, a drive circuit turns off a MOSFET. At this time, the battery voltage is temporarily varied, but the charge pump circuit has a filter action and a delay action, whereby temporary variation does not easily appear in the raising voltage (detecting voltage), and an error in operation of the MOSFET can be prevented.

    Abstract: A pneumatic tire comprises a tread portion in which an annular anti-adhesive sheet is embedded along the inside of the tire, the annular anti-adhesive sheet made of a material which does not firmly adhere to the adjacent rubber so as to form a bag-like portion as an unbonded part extending continuously in the tire circumferential direction, the bag-like portion filled with a self-sealing material for self-sealing punctures, the anti-adhesive sheet having circumferential ends being spliced, and in the spliced portion, at least one of the circumferential ends disposed radially inwards of the other circumferential end has an edge inclined at an angle of from 30 to 60 degrees with respect to the widthwise direction of the anti-adhesive sheet. In a method of manufacturing the pneumatic tire, the step of building a green tire includes a step of embedding the anti-adhesive sheet; and after the tire is vulcanized, the self-sealing material is injected into the bag-like portion.

    Abstract: A pneumatic tire and a method of manufacturing the tire are disclosed. The tread portion is provided with a bag-like portion filled with a puncture sealant. The bag-like portion is formed by interposing an anti-adhesive sheet for preventing adjacent tire materials from bonding each other. The sealant includes a substance which dissolves the anti-adhesive sheet, whereby the bag-like portion is filled with the sealant including the anti-adhesive sheet in solution. The sealant may include water and propylene glycol, and in this case, a water soluble plastics film which is, for example, made of polivinyl alcohol obtained by hydrolyzing polyvinyl acetate is preferably used as the anti-adhesive sheet.

    Abstract: The adhesion between a protective layer, which covers a wiring layer, and a potting material, which covers a microchip, in a hybrid IC is improved without placing an additional material between the protective layer and the potting material. The potting material is separated from other electronic devices on the hybrid IC. To improve adhesion, the surface roughness of the protective layer is increased by adding insulating particles to the protective layer, striking the surface of the protective layer with ceramic particles, or replicating a mesh pattern of a screen mask on the surface of the protective layer. To keep the potting material separated from the other electronic devices, another potting material for covering the electronic devices, which is more viscous than the potting material for covering the microchip, is potted and hardened before the potting material for covering the microchip is potted.

An AC voltage is applied on a bridge circuit including a pair of detection coils and a pair of resistors, a differential voltage between AC voltages that appear on both ends of the pair of detection coils is detected and sent out as the torque signal, and a failure of a circuit component of the torque detecting circuit is judged based on the phase difference between the waveform of the AC voltage applied on the bridge circuit and the waveform of the differential voltage between AC voltages that appear on both ends of the pair of detection coils.

    Abstract: An organic electroluminescent panel having two luminescent layers interposed between a pair of electrode layers emits white light or colored light. Both luminescent layers simultaneously emit respective lights which in turn are mixed into a white light or colored light. To realize the simultaneous light emission from both luminescent layers and to enhance energy conversion efficiency, organic materials having a solid state fluorescence spectrum peak wavelength in a range of 380 nm-510 nm are used as both host materials, and materials having a solid state fluorescence spectrum which overlaps with that of the host materials or is shifted to a longer wavelength side are used as the fluorescent materials doped in the host materials.

In the present structure, the connecting bracket member is fixedly connected, at that upper end portion thereof, to the reduced lower end area of lateral frame section, in such a manner that the slant edge thereof extends in a downwardly inclined way as it proceeds toward a forward side of the seat back, i.e. a running direction of a vehicle.
