  • Patent number: 5276855
Abstract: Disclosed is a logic synthesis apparatus for automatically composing and designing LSI logic circuits by converting a functional specification based on conversion rules given in advance to the apparatus, which is composed of means for inputting an additional transformation rule, means for executing logic composition of LSI by applying the additional transformation rule to the functional specification preferentially to the conversion rules, and means for revising the conversion rules so as to avoid competition between the conversion rules and the additional transformation rule by analyzing the additional conversion rule, and incorporating the additional transformation rule in the conversion rules, thereby obtaining a learning function to the additional transformation rule.

  • Patent number: 5266849
Abstract: A CMOS tri-state buffer circuit transfers digital signals between a first digital circuit system operating at 3.3 Volts and a second system operating at 5 Volts. The buffer circuit receives an active high enable signal and a data signal as inputs to a tri-state select network. When the enable signal is high, data is propagated through a driver stage and onto a data bus in the second system. Driver clamp circuitry and an n-well voltage controller operate conjunction with the driver stage to prevent the 5 volt supply of the second system from interfering with the circuitry of the of the 3.3 Volt system. A clamped line driver transmits signals from the 5 Volt system to the 3.3 Volt system.

  • Patent number: 5068141
Abstract: A nonwoven fabric formed of highly spinnable heat bonded continuous filaments which is strong and soft and is superior in hand. The nonwoven fabric is formed by heat-bonding filaments of linear low density polyethylene so that the number of defects is not more than 0.01/kg, the weight is 10-100 g/m.sup.2, the percentage bond area is 7-20% and the total hand value is 4-300 g. The nonwoven fabric is produced by melt-extruding the above-mentioned linear low density polyethylene to form filaments which are drawn by air guns at a high speed so that they are deposited on a moving collection belt to form a web which is then heat treated at a temperature 15.degree.-30.degree. C. lower than the melting point of the filaments. The nonwoven fabric an be formed of filaments of hollow or flat cross section. It is also possible to utilize bicomponent filaments having a sheath component made of linear low density polyethylene and a core component made of polyethylene terephthalate.

  • Patent number: 4980485
Abstract: Optically active periplanone-B is manufactured through oxidizing (1RS, 4S, 5E)-isopropyl-7-methylene-5-cyclodecene-1-ol. The oxidized product is regioselectively enolized and then sulfenylated. The sulfenylated product is oxidized and then subjected to decomposition of the sulfoxide. The decomposed product is epoxidated, and the epoxidated product is converted into an enolate which is then oxidized. The oxidized product is oxidized and then regio- and stereoselectively epoxidated to obtain optically active periplanone-B.

  • Patent number: 4853848
Abstract: A block access system using a cache memory comprises a first control circuit for producing a block access request for requesting read-out of all data included in a block of a predetermined size in response to an access request from an operation unit and inputting the data read out from a main memory unit into a cache memory, and a second control circuit for reading out data from the main memory unit and sending back to the first control circuit a response signal which indicates any one of execution and cancellation of the requested block access in response to the block access request from the first control means. Memory addresses necessary for reading out all the data in one block are produced by the first control circuit when the block access request is cancelled. Alternatively, memory addresses are supplied by the second control circuit when the block access request is executed.

  • Patent number: 4710915
Abstract: A token-passing type loop transmission system including a plurality of node stations and first and second loop transmission lines, which lines transmit signals in opposite directions. Each node station includes a first and second loop-back circuits and a ring control circuit. The ring control circuit monitors signals passing through the node station, changes end paths in the first and second loop-back circuits to operatively connect the first and second loop transmission lines or to restore the first and second loop transmission lines to a normal state in each loop-back circuit, and transmits a signal on the first or second loop transmission line through the first or second loop-back circuit. By the combination of operations of the node stations, the loop transmission system performs automatic loop configuration control of detection of a fault point therein and constructs a transmission loop line not including the fault point.

  • Patent number: 4516173
Abstract: An image data conversion method for converting the image data signal to the runlength signal through the process for reading once or several times a runlength code from a runlength conversion table for a given image data signal and a process for adding the pertinent runlength code when the same type of runlength code appears continuously. A character code/character pattern conversion apparatus which uses said image data conversion method, and provides, moreover, a multiplication device for multiplying character enlarging coefficient and the runlength code and a character interval inserting means which adds a character interval width code to the enlarged runlength code and outputs the input character code after converting it to the enlarged character pattern along with the interval code.
