Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed herein for enabling an improved management of power resource of a device during content presentation. A device profile comprising, for a codec supported by the device, a plurality of format tuples, each format tuple having an associated power usage, is determined. A selection of a content item for the presentation on the device is received. A manifest file comprising, for the codec supported by the device, a set of representations for generating the content item for presentation on the device, wherein each representation in the set comprises a format tuple different from the other representations in the set. A first subset of representations from the set of representations is selected, based on the device profile, resulting in a quality level and a power usage associated with the presentation of the content item over the duration of the presentation of the content item on the device.

A user equipment (UE) obtains a configuration of a number of additional candidate sidelink synchronization signal block (S-SSB) occasions and a gap. The UE determines at least one additional candidate S-SSB occasion according to the configuration. The UE determines whether to transmit at least one additional S-SSB in the at least one additional candidate S-SSB occasion.

Abstract: Methods and systems are presented herein for presenting smart notifications for security systems. An application may receive a first video captured using one or more capturing devices. The application may analyze the first video to determine an event that occurred in the first video, and the application may generate a textual summary describing the event. Based at least in part on the generated textual summary, the application may determine both a criticality level corresponding to the event and a notification corresponding to the event. The notification may be provided for presentation at a device, and the presentation of the notification may be based at least in part on the criticality level.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided herein for providing consistent picture quality during live or non-live streaming of hybrid content. For example, a camera may capture a first piece of hybrid content depicting a scene. The scene may include one or more real objects (e.g., a first person conducting an interview) and a piece of content (e.g., a stream of a second person being interviewed) being displayed on a screen (e.g., television screen). A system may receive the first piece of hybrid content and the source of the piece of content being displayed within the scene. The system may then insert the source of the piece of content into the first piece of content, replacing the depiction of the piece of content, to generate a second piece of hybrid content. The second piece of hybrid content may then be transmitted to one or more devices.

Abstract: Systems and methods for synchronizing a portion of the radio broadcast with a portion of a TV broadcast and switching from TV to radio broadcast upon detecting a triggering condition are described. A determination is made if radio and TV broadcasters are within a local transmission range (e.g., connected via a wire), to broadcast live event feeds directly to each other. If broadcasters are within local transmission range, then the radio broadcast's feed may be multiplexed with the audio feed of the TV broadcast. If they are farther apart, then their clocks may be synchronized, and the corresponding audio packets of the radio and TV broadcasts may be multiplexed together based on a time stamp from the synchronized clocks and delivered to the client device. Upon detecting the triggering condition, the client device may switch from the TV broadcast to the synchronized radio broadcast.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for improving content output. Content is displayed, and it is determined that at least one user is engaging with the content. A position of each user relative to a display is determined for each of the users, and priority values are determined based on a characteristic associated with each of the users engaging with the content. Metadata associated with the display is accessed, and a preferred output position for the display is determined based on the priority value for the each of the users and the metadata. At least one positioning element configured to guide a change in a position of the display in three-dimensional space is displayed based on the preferred output position. The change in the position in three-dimensional space of the display is monitored for, and the at least one positioning element is updated based on the monitoring.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided herein for an advanced teleprompter with dynamic content management. The script management system (SMS) of this advanced teleprompter receives a transcript with consecutive sections of text for dynamic display at a client device and provides for dynamic display the consecutive sections of text at a first pace. After the SMS receives the transcript, the SMS ingests the prepared transcript and the given time frame for the speech, and then uses the transcript as an input for a large language model (LLM). Once the SMS detects speech from a speaker the SMS inputs the transcript and the text of the speech from the speaker into the LLM and modifies a section subsequent to the first section of text based on the output of the LLM that results from the inputs of the transcript and the text of the speech. The SMS then provides for dynamic display the modified section subsequent to the first section of text of the plurality of consecutive sections of text.

Abstract: A source video received for encoding in a streaming protocol in which video is encoded in normal streams and companion streams. A first upscaled frame is generated by upscaling a first frame from a first resolution to a second resolution. Based on the first upscaled frame and a corresponding frame of the second resolution, a residue representing a difference between the first upscaled frame and the corresponding frame is generated and encoded in a companion stream associated with the second resolution. Upon accessing the encoded video at a time when no I-frame is encoded in any normal stream, an output stream displays a high-resolution image based on an I-frame in the first companion stream associated with the first resolution and the residue in the companion stream associated with the second resolution.

Abstract: The disclosure provides a lyophilized preparation of prostaglandin E1 methyl ester for injection and production and use thereof. The lyophilized preparation comprises the following components by weight: 0.1-10 parts of prostaglandin E1 methyl ester, 500-4000 parts of an oil for injection, 500-2000 parts of an emulsifier, 0-10 parts of a co-emulsifier, 5000-50000 parts of a lyoprotectant, and 200-1500 parts of glycerin. The prostaglandin E1 methyl ester lyophilized agent of the disclosure has less blood vessel irritation, good drug stability, and superior drug activity and therapeutic effect than similar prostaglandin E1 products.

At a server, a request is received for a media asset for interaction on a haptic enabled device. Based on the request, haptic feedback settings of the haptic enabled device associated with the request are determined. The server transmits to the haptic enabled device a version of the media asset comprising haptic feedback rendering criteria compatible with the haptic enabled device. The version of the media asset is comprised of graphics and haptics rendering criteria transmittable over a current network connection strength between the server and the haptic enabled device and also incorporates user interaction data. The haptic enabled device renders the version of the media asset based on the haptic feedback settings.

The social networking server may receive a request, from a device of a host user, to create a social room based on a predicted future event. The social networking server may transmit an invitation to user devices on the social network to subscribe to the social room and then receive subscriptions from the user devices to join the social room. Based on an evaluated probability and the number of subscribers, the social networking server may pre-allocate particular server resources for the social room. If the future event occurs, then the social networking server initiates the social room using the pre-allocated particular server resources and automatically joins the subscribers.
