  • Publication number: 20250203156
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for enabling the improved delivery of live content items to a plurality of computing devices. A live content item is received via an application running on a computing device via a first transmission scheme, where the first transmission scheme is an over-the-top transmission scheme, and the live content item is generated for output via the application. A reduction in quality of the first transmission scheme that is greater than a threshold reduction in quality is identified, and it is identified that the live content item is available via a second transmission scheme from a source other than the first transmission scheme. The live content item is received via the second transmission scheme, and the live content item received via the second transmission scheme is generated for output.

  • Publication number: 20250203138
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for utilizing historic user consumption of media assets to manage the resources associated with streaming further media asset. tracking, at a computing device, A consumption of a plurality of media assets within a preset time period are tracked at a computing device, and a first resource value associated with the plurality of media assets is identified. A consumption velocity associated with the consumption of the plurality of media assets is identified, and the consumption velocity is weighted based on the first resource value. It is determined that the weighted consumption velocity is above a threshold consumption velocity, and a user interface element comprising a recommendation for a media asset is generated for output, wherein a second resource value associated with the recommended media asset is lower than the first resource value.

  • Publication number: 20250203160
Abstract: Methods and systems for enabling a user to browse a selection of video streams are disclosed. The interface disclosed herein provides two types of video panels. A first type is a video stream browse panel which shows a different video stream in response to receiving a video stream browsing command. The second type is a video stream monitor panel which continues to show the same video stream on the screen even when a video stream browsing command is received. By enabling a user to flag a video stream browsing panel as a video stream monitor panel, the user is able to build a multi-view presentation showing a video stream which they wish to monitor, and a video stream browser panel which they can use to surf through other video streams. On clearing the flag on a video stream monitor panel, the panel is removed from the screen. Because the flag can be set or cleared using a single user action, the ease of use of the user interface is improved.

  • Publication number: 20250193423
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for decoding visual content using a hybrid framework based on convolutional and neural radiance networks. A decoder receives bitstreams of model parameters, a sequence level representation, and a cross-resolution representation for reconstructing a sequence of frames. The model parameters comprise neural radiance network parameters. The decoder decodes the bitstreams of the model parameters, the sequence level representation, and the cross-resolution representation. The decoder generates, via a channel transformer, a combined representation based on the sequence level representation and the cross-resolution representation. The decoder adapts a neural network model based on the neural radiance network parameters. The decoder reconstructs the sequence of frames by determining, via the adapted neural network model based on the combined representation, pixel attribute information for each frame of the reconstructed sequence of frames.

  • Publication number: 20250193036
Abstract: System and methods of providing automatic recording of a virtual meeting based on user activity is disclosed. The method includes determining if a virtual meeting has begun and if a user is available or attentive based on one or more sensors, including a webcam, a Bluetooth controller, an infrared camera, a proximity detector, and a microphone connected to the user device. When it is determined that the user is insufficiently available or attentive, a recording of the virtual meeting is started. A user attention status may be reassessed periodically, and the recording continues as long as the user remains insufficiently available or attentive. Once the user is determined to be available, the recording is ended.

  • Publication number: 20250191353
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for encoding visual content using a hybrid framework based on convolutional and neural radiance networks. An encoder accesses video data having a sequence of frames. The encoder generates a first frame based on averaging pixel attributes of the sequence of frames. The encoder determines a sequence level representation based on the first frame. The encoder trains a neural network model based on the sequence of frames to determine a cross-resolution representation corresponding to the sequence of frames. Training the neural network model comprises generating a plurality of model parameters for reconstructing the sequence of frames based on the sequence level representation and the cross-resolution representation. The plurality of model parameters comprises neural radiance network parameters. The encoder transmits bitstreams of the plurality of model parameters, the sequence level representation, and the cross-resolution representation.

  • Publication number: 20250184615
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to methods and systems for e.g., eliminating, in a live capturing by a camera during a video conference, a reflection of an image rendered by a computer screen, on eyeglasses worn by a user facing said computer screen. This reflection tends to divert the other attendees' attention, which may extend the duration of the video conference. The computer screen alternates between a regular display state and a black-frame display state while the camera advantageously captures a series of images depicting the user's face only when the computer screen is in the black-frame display state, during which the computer screen does not emit any light. Each image of the captured series of images accordingly depicts the user's face wearing eyeglasses through which the user's eyes clearly appear unobstructed by the aforementioned reflection.
