  • Patent number: 12193880
Abstract: The present disclosure describes ultrasound systems configured to perform microbubble-based contrast imaging with enhanced sensitivity. The systems can enhance echo signals derived from microbubbles while suppressing echo signals derived from tissue by detecting phase shifts exhibited by microbubbles in resonance. To detect the phase shifts, and thereby distinguish between microbubble-based signals and tissue-based signals, the systems can transmit a series of ultrasound pulses into a target region in accordance with a predefined sequence. The sequence can include an initiation pulse configured to stimulate microbubbles into nonlinear oscillation, a detection pulse configured to detect the nonlinear oscillation, and a summation pulse formed by transmitting an initiation pulse and detection pulse with a small time delay therebetween.

  • Patent number: 12178654
Abstract: An ultrasound system produces maps of acoustic attenuation coefficients from B mode image signals. A plurality of maps located in different parallel and elevationally separated planes (A, B, C, D, E) are produced, then compounded in the elevation direction. Confidence maps may also be produced for one or more attenuation coefficient maps, and the confidence map displayed or its measures used to determine weighting for the compounding process. The compounding of elevationally separate planes improves attenuation coefficient estimation in the presence of blood vessels affecting the estimates in one or more of the planes.

The sensor is adapted to gather measurement data from the US cable. The system also has a processor and a memory. The memory stores instructions, which when executed by the processor, cause the processor to: input the measurement data to a trained computational model; and apply the trained computational model to the measurement data to predict cable integrity of the US cable based on ground truth data, or to forecast a remaining useful life (RUL) of the US cable using ground truth data, or both. A sensor including a flexible textile-like substrate is also described. The sensor is embedded in the substrate and along a length of the US cable.

  • Patent number: 12160167
Abstract: A short-circuit protection apparatus includes a first detection branch, a second detection branch, and a controller. The first detection branch includes a first sampling resistor and a first sampling capacitor that is connected in parallel to the first sampling resistor. A difference between an absolute value of a second sampling voltage and an absolute value of a first sampling voltage is a first difference. The controller obtains a comparison result between an absolute value of a first sampling voltage at two terminals of the first sampling resistor and an absolute value of a second sampling voltage at two terminals of the second sampling resistor, and if a difference between the absolute value of the second sampling voltage and the absolute value of the first sampling voltage is a second difference and the second difference is less than the first difference, controls the target circuit to stop working.

  • Publication number: 20240315674
Abstract: An ultrasonic diagnostic imaging system and method produce attenuation coefficient maps of a region of interest in an ultrasound image. In order to detect the presence of elevation aperture blockage, the system estimates attenuation coefficients by two different methods. The estimates produced by the two different methods are combined to produce a metric, which is evaluated as a function of depth. If the metric satisfies one or more criteria of measurement bias, elevation aperture blockage is identified and an alert of the blockage is produced for the user.

  • Patent number: 12088200
Abstract: This application discloses a boost power conversion circuit, a method, an inverter, an apparatus, and a system. In the conversion circuit, a voltage control circuit is added on a three-level boost. The voltage control circuit can be connected in series in a third closed loop, and the third closed loop is a loop including an inductor, a first switching transistor, a flying capacitor, a second diode, and an input end. The voltage control circuit clamps a voltage of a common point of the first diode and the second diode when a voltage on an input end of the boost power conversion circuit is less than a startup voltage of the boost power conversion circuit. The voltage borne by the second diode is reduced, so that a diode with relatively small voltage stress can be selected.
