  • Patent number: 9945923
Abstract: In a method and apparatus for motion-corrected magnetic resonance (MR) imaging, MR data are acquired in a diagnostic scan in respective portions, and between each portion of acquired diagnostic data, a navigator scan is implemented wherein navigator data are acquired simultaneously in multiple slices in a navigator sub-volume that is less than the volume of the acquisition volume. A reference scan is acquired before beginning the diagnostic scan, and the navigator data in the sub-volumes are acquired between the acquisition of the portions of the MR data in the diagnostic scan. Between each acquisition portion, a motion-correction algorithm is executed, wherein the navigator data of the sub-volume is compared only to corresponding image data in the reference scan, and, if necessary, a motion-correction instruction is generated that is used for the acquisition of the next diagnostic data portion.

  • Publication number: 20180101952
Abstract: In a method and a computer for generating a physiologically-derived map correlated with anatomical image data spatially resolved physiologically-derived values within a value range are provided to a computer, as are anatomical image data. A frequency of occurrence of the provided physiologically-derived values is determined in the computer, depending on the occurrence of physiologically-derived values within the value range. A portion of the value range is selected in or via the computer, based on the determined frequency of the provided physiologically-derived values. Color coding is assigned in the computer to the physiologically-derived values of the value range outside the selected portion. A physiologically-derived map is generated by the computer by assigning a physiologically-derived value corresponding to the assigned color coding to its spatially resolved position in relation to the anatomical image data, and the map is shown at a display screen of the computer.

  • Patent number: 9940713
Abstract: A method for MRI inter-scan motion correction includes performing (i) an anatomical localizer scan of a region of interest (ROI) to identify anatomical landmarks defining orientation of a surrounding field-of-view (FOV); (ii) an inter-scan motion reference scan of the ROI to acquire a reference inter-scan dataset indicating a reference navigator location in the ROI; and (iii) scans of the ROI to acquire k-space data. Prior to one or more of the scans, a motion correction process is performed that includes (a) performing an inter-scan motion tracking scan to acquire a tracking inter-scan dataset indicating an updated reference navigator location; (b) determining an estimation of inter-scan patient motion based on a comparison between the reference inter-scan and tracking inter-scan datasets; and (c) updating the FOV relative to the landmarks based on that estimation. Images of the ROI may be generated using the k-space data acquired with each of the scans.

  • Publication number: 20170321327
Abstract: The present invention relates to an aqueous plating bath composition and a method for depositing a palladium layer by electroless plating onto a substrate. The aqueous plating bath composition according to the present invention comprises a source for palladium ions, a reducing agent for palladium ions and an aldehyde compound. The aqueous plating bath composition has an increased deposition rate for palladium while maintaining bath stability. The aqueous plating bath composition has also a prolonged life time. The aldehyde compounds of the present invention allow for adjusting the deposition rate to a constant range over the bath life time and for electrolessly depositing palladium layers at lower temperatures. The aldehyde compounds of the present invention activate electroless palladium plating baths having a low deposition rate and reactivate aged electroless palladium plating baths.

  • Patent number: 9791531
Abstract: A method for establishing a magnetic resonance system actuation sequence is described. A first number of field distribution maps are acquired for slices of the measurement region, and a radiofrequency pulse train is established on the basis thereof for the magnetic resonance system actuation sequence. This acquisition of the first number of field distribution maps may be brought about on the basis of an acquisition scheme. A reduced number of field distribution representation maps are established on the basis of the acquired field distribution maps, which field distribution representation maps represent the first number of acquired field distribution maps in accordance with a predetermined optimization criterion, and the radiofrequency pulse train is established on the basis of the field distribution representation maps.
