  • Publication number: 20240134936
Abstract: Implementations are described herein for learning mappings between a domain specific language (DSL) and images, and leveraging those mappings for various purposes. In various implementations, a method for using a DSL to generate training data may include processing data indicative of ground truth image(s) depicting a real plant using a trained image-to-DSL machine learning (ML) model to generate a first expression in the DSL that describes structure of the real plant. The first expression may include a plurality of parameters, and may be processed to programmatically generate a plurality of synthetic DSL expressions. Each respective synthetic DSL expression may describe structure of a respective synthetic plant for which parameter(s) have been altered from the first expression. The synthetic DSL expressions may be processed using a renderer to create three-dimensional (3D) synthetic plant models. Two-dimensional (2D) synthetic images may be generated that depict the 3D synthetic plant models in an area.

  • Publication number: 20240127888
Abstract: A method of measuring cross-correlation or similarity between input features and filters of neural networks using an RRAM-crossbar architecture to carry out addition/subtraction-based neural networks for in-memory computing. The correlation calculations use L1 norm operations of AdderNet. The RCM structure of the RRAM-cross bar has storage and computing collocated, such that processing is done in the analog domain with low power, low latency and small area. In addition, the impact due to the nonidealities of RRAM device can be alleviated by the implicit ratio-based feature of the structure.

  • Patent number: 11929677
Abstract: Circuits and methods for reducing lagging responses of a power converter to changes in circuit voltages or current, over-shoot/under-shoot when a target output voltage changes faster than the power converter's response, and open loop conditions. Embodiments include scanning a feedback voltage from a load powered by a voltage output by a power converter controlled by a PWM control signal; detecting an under-regulation condition; and, while the under-regulation condition is detected, increasing a clock signal rate to a counter outputting a count value usable to generate the PWM control signal. Embodiments include comparing a target output voltage to a signal representative of an output voltage of the power converter; indicating an under-shoot or over-shoot condition if the voltage difference exceeds a corresponding offset value; and limiting the range of values for an M-bit count value used to generate the PWM control signal to mitigate the under-shoot or over-shoot condition.

  • Publication number: 20240074657
Abstract: The subject invention pertains to a novel angle-closure detection method for risk assessment of primary angle closure (PAC) or primary angle closure glaucoma (PACG) to inform treatment decisions. According to certain embodiments, a plurality of cross-sectional images of the anterior segment of an eye centered at the pupil with preferably even radial separations are obtained from optical coherence tomography imaging. After identifying the position of scleral spur from the cross-sectional image captured at each angle-location, the anterior chamber angles are analyzed. Each angle-location of the eye is classified as (i) closed angle, (ii) narrow angle, or (iii) open angle. The extents of narrow angles and closed angles among all angle-locations across the 360° radial space are computed. Based on the extents of narrow angles and closed angles, a regression model is applied to compute the risk of PAC/PACG development.

  • Patent number: 11870748
Abstract: Implementations set forth herein relate to subjecting a message to a group rule that causes any message, in a message thread that includes the message, to include certain addresses, regardless of the addresses that are incorporated, by a user, into an address field of a reply message. The group rule can reduce a number of messages that are not provided to a group of intended recipients because of message originators omitting the intended recipients on important messages. Furthermore, this can reduce a number of messages that are sent to compensate for certain reply messages not being received by all intended recipients. A group rule can be modified by any recipient that does not desire to be included in the group rule, and a group rule can expire when one or more conditions are satisfied, thereby causing certain messages to no longer be subject to the group rule.
