    Abstract: To control vehicular congestion at intersections, a method includes detecting a group of two or more vehicles stopped at an intersection regulated by a traffic light, where for each of the vehicles in the group, movement through the intersection in response to a change in a state of the traffic light is affected by movement of at least one other vehicle in the group. The method further includes determining a time when the state of the traffic light changes to allow the group of vehicles to start moving through the intersection, determining acceleration parameters for a certain vehicle in the group in view of potential and/or actual movement of the other vehicles in the group through the intersection, and providing guidance to a device operated by a driver of the certain vehicle regarding the determined acceleration parameters, in accordance with the determined time.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure generally include spin-orbit torque magnetoresistive random-access memory (SOT-MRAM) devices and methods of manufacture thereof. The SOT-MRAM devices described herein include an SOT layer laterally aligned with a magnetic tunnel junction (MTJ) stack and formed over a trench in an interconnect. Thus, the presence of the SOT layer outside the area of the MTJ stack is eliminated, and electric current passes from the interconnect to the SOT layer by SOT-interconnect overlap. The devices and methods described herein reduce the formation of shunting current and enable the MTJ to self-align with the SOT layer in a single etching process.

    Abstract: An approach is described for a method, product, and apparatus for a machine learning process using weight sharing within a systolic array having reduced memory bandwidth. According to some embodiments, this approach includes providing a systolic array that includes processing elements which each have some number of storage elements for storing weights. For example, the weights can be reused for different data sets by identifying/capturing a current state of the storage elements, generating a plan to transition to a target state of those storage elements, and application of the transition plan such that weights that are already stored in those storage elements can be reused and/or relocate. This lowers the bandwidth requirements for weight memory by allowing weights that have previously been read into the systolic array to be reused.
